Tbf long loading screens existed for like all of the ps3 and ps4 era of games cuz they're very capable of rendering big worlds (if you give them some time) and every game had to compete with the ones pushing it super hard and far so then it was like NATURAL for a big game to have like a 10-30s loading time (bloodborne ds3 the uncharted games metal gear rising I mean I know a lot of these lowkey) and only recently has the technology kind of caught up and we're back to nearly seamless stuff, but that's just until they make games big enough for a ps5 or nice pc to have to take half a minute to load
