A tip for soul tyrant/any enemy that shoots those homing balls is to move as close to the ground as possible so that they instantly hit the ground and dissapear instead of circling around you for like 5 extra seconds. Shadow dashing into them also makes them dissapear.

In general you have 2 ways to dodge attacks: dash or jump.
The thing with dash is that it can be off cooldown, so ideally you want to be ready to jump over the attacks

For a triple slash you have time to realize and then pogo, it helps a lot with weird timings

both are really important
