On Grub Biology

Pale kind started to make children nonstop, thus it led to an uncontroled, unwanted, and unset group of kingsmoulds. Sheo, a very old characyer, talks about kingmoulds being common to see in the streets of Hallownest.

The destiny of a kingsmould is to protect, thats why pale king used void to shape them: void is the subsyance that "when given form, break thou the will never once"

The word form is used as "purpose" here

So, a creature of voide that has purpose to protect, will go crazy one the thing tgat they needed to protect is gone.
