Today most runners play in 1.2.2.1 which is the fastest version of the game for full game speedruns, but also 1.4.3.2 for godhome speedruns like P5AB
1.5 is known as LP (latest patch) and you're free to use any 1.5 version you want, and it's run for a good amount of LP categories, but also 112%APB is exclusively ran in 1.5 to my knowledge.
The new version removing idrops and adding pause momentum storage is certainly going to be an interesting decision

In cases where the boss does a scream, u could open the full map and, if timed correctly, the map key would be there after the map was forced closed
it did nothing but give the d key another purpose and add screen clutter
