Has anyone tried to do something like this yet? It feels like it's just barely possible but every time i think i can get the height consistently it seems to change

Using this attempt as an example, i jump at this spot in front of the black spot between the bars in the background, or right on top of that little rectangle thing on the floor

Then i release the ||beast crest charge attack|| right before the pole in the background

Hornet barely goes over the height that using the attack would normally give you

But i suppose due to a delay by design, you can't act until a lil after the attack finishes

A down attack could maybe reach if it could be done right after the first attack

Not sure if this would be a significant skip, but I figured this is a good place for this kinda stuff

||basically i was fighting phantom (on pc) with the architect build with a poison build with:cogflys,conchcutter and tacks.At the almost the end of the fight got killed by him but at the same time he died (maybe from the poison or the tools) triggering the cutscene that gives you the parry ability, when i died i saw the first half a second of the cutscene where i could saw a clone of my sprite getting ready to parry. As i respawned the game was in slow-motion as if it was stuck at the speed in the end of a boss fight/hordes of enemies for some time or maybe untill you press the button to parry (i don't remember if i've pressed it or not). After the game speed was back to normal i've noticed that no matter for how long i've hold the button to jump i always did a really short jump (this also happens on the wall) idk if this state of the game is broken bc i did't notice anything different and didn't try anything strage, but i was forced to exit to the menu end rejoin bc the parkour before the boss with a really short wall jump was really hard lucky that solved the bug and i finished the fight (sorry for bad english)||

Yo! I was playing through the game casually and accidentally triggered an interesting out of bounds glitch using silk soar. I used silk soar when right at the edge of some geometry that was on a upwards screen transition in bone bottom and the game freaked out and put me inside the wall along with a glitched camera. I've been trying to recreate it on video but it seems to be very precise. Since it uses an act 3 skill it's probably not useful for a speedrun but it might be fun to play around with. Or maybe someone else has found this already too.

In the short time it appeared, my character didn't move, but since I was in the water, I wanted to get out as quickly as possible so my amulet wouldn't break. However, in my desperation, I ended up bugging out below the platform and disappearing from my screen. I kept trying to walk until I exited the arena to the left and picked up an item called Seeker's Soul. But I was very sad that I couldn't kill the boss, so I went back.

Then I searched online and discovered that I was supposed to have killed the boss and then gotten the item. I think I discovered a boss skip.

Okay awful first full run but 2 hours 17 minutes not too bad-?

I wasted a solid 25 minutes just navigating the place because I had 0 plan & no sense of direction, and a good 10 minutes from a few idiotic deaths and run backs

I think after a few more dozen attempts I can shave my personal best to at least 1:35:00 but that’s gonna take a lot of practice so I’m excited for it when I find time

Honestly I feel like most of the time loss is early game so I really need to get that movement down

By the time I get to Act 2 the current WR is finishing up the final song

The loads are removed because it’s inconsistent for everyone, but cutscenes are consistent times

He Dashes right before the jump to gain more speed, he hovers till the screen pans to him, the heal is to stall in the air a bit so he can get the small roll after the heal, then he floats and dashes at the right moment

I have yet to even do it once but that seems to be the setup

The biggest distance boost is the dash into the jump, and I’m pretty sure hovering till the camera pans affects smth since I can see how trying to move too much off screen can affect things

Straight pin or the Needle Phial seem like the closest ones, Bell beast is needed for Straight pin I think, and Needle Phial needs claw probably

There are some very game breaking glitches that allow you to skip quite a lot of things but it's basically playing a game that isn't silksong

If you want to get tools mostly nmg your options are either to go through bell beast, or do moss mother and kill a bunch of enemies to farm for a key into wormways and do a series of difficult skips into shellwood

This is off-topic, but I think I found some secret puzzles, but I need help solving. I found a lore stone that says the following

I remember finding a room with the pilgrims hanging and playing a song makes their silhouette show up. In fact, there are a bunch of places where playing a song makes silhouette appear.

So far what I think is that these things have to be completed.
Eight masks hard - have 8 masks in steel soul mode
Swirled soul engaged - ???
Twelve aknids flat - use the needle phial on 12 aknids. Idk if that even works. Someone please test that.

Then head to the place where they are hanging and play the song.

I'm not good enough to get thru hard mode so I can't test it
