Hi, i tried downpatching hk to 1.2.2.1 and everything was going awesome but when i launch the instalation it works but it launche curennt patch. Any idea why?

yeah you're right that it's kind of confusing. What it should mean is that for an individual level run (such as pantheon 5) it is invalidating, but in full game runs (such as 112%) it only warrants a time penalty

Hey so I dont know anything about Hollow Knight speedrunning, im just doing the achievement, but i accidently found a way to discovered a way to skip hornet's dialogue in the city of tears. I don't know if you come here on any routes, but i figured id report it in case it was undiscovered

Usually it’s not very useful in speedruns as it takes time to set up but it sometimes helps

what i could reccomend tho, finish the game first, next watch the world record and go try the same rout ingame (on ur finished file) (you can watch it meanwhile), if u want a good speedrun, u gotta use very hard tricks, if u want to have a timeloss u gotta go an intended route. Oh and also u got to remember the whole route bc buying a map and looking at it is a huge timeloss and yeah thats all what i can say, im not a speedrunner so sorry if this wont help
