if you have the spare ||silk|| going into the ||bottom corners in the maggots|| are safe from all his attacks, ||clawline|| is your safest approach and also nets you some chip damage, he's fairly stationary so ||multihit tools like Volt Vessel or Sting Shard|| can drain his HP fast, when he does the ||phase 2 soul spew move|| lure him down then jump when he shoots it, then stall in the air to lure him up until he fires again and then fall down to dodge it, ||Needle art|| is highly effective against the adds, you can safely pogo over him ||during the attack when he spews two maggot balls,|| the best way to dodge those projectiles in my experience is to ||cling to the wall|| and then jump over them when they're at the low of the arc of their bounce, I think thats all my advice

OH gotcha, ||if you use Needolin it will stun enemies for long enough to get hits on them if you cancel Needolin the moment the enemy starts singing, this is most helpful against bosses, it makes the range you can stun enemies longer and makes how long enemies get stunned longer||

Do your best to never get pinched into a wall. In all phases, her upwards leap and down-slam is a safe window to sprint under. For phase 2 you must be ready to jump after she lands
Her flail swing comes out fast in both phases so gotta watch her telegrpah to not get hit
The flail throw where she launches it far from her has a safe window close to her to attack. But you must be ready to jump when she pulls it back to her. I never used it due to cowardice
Upon defeat, she will explode get distance from her, farther than your silk spear range should be safe but dont take chances. You will lose fight if it kills you
Also her ground slam and horizontal dash are good windows to pogo her. When she flail swings, it blocks most projectiles except longpin. Curveclaw is rly good if you hit the sweet spot btw||

If you played hollow knight, a good tip is to not try to play this like it’s hollow knight. Take your time learning the move set and take fights slow.

If you’re having trouble in a fight, try just dodging for a couple attempts (your ||rosaries|| will always be in the arena if you die, so not much pressure there)

If you’re having trouble in traversal, especially with the ||down pogo|| (a lot of people struggle with that at first), I would suggest going out of your way to use that down pogo as much as possible so that you can internalize the positioning and whatnot.

The game is tough, but it’s all very doable.

Lastly, explore! The game is filled with things to make your time ||in Pharloom|| more manageable but most of it is just outside the beaten path

Well, ||I'm down to only High Halls Forum arena and Great Taste of Pharloom, both of which are just not possible.||

||As I've said before, the High Halls Forum arena fight is just too long, with too many enemies and also things which steal your silk further making survival more difficult. I just can't kill things fast / safe enough without dying or taking too much damage to be able to finish (in fairness, I don't know if I'm even close to beating this).||

||I have all of the items for the quest Great Taste of Pharloom, but you just don't have enough time to get the Courier Rashier the massive distance to the NPC / turn in. Considering I've made it to the Choral Chambers, but still failed only making a single mistake, I just don't feel like this is possible to complete unless I'm supposed to go a different route.||

||Regardless, I think this is where I'm going to put the game down. It's been a good experience, but I think this end game hasn't been very well balanced in terms of difficulty.||

think of it like this: the game is balanced but not fair. i think this is the general experience for a lot of people and dont mind the people who will be telling "umm actually the difficulty is actually fun" because they like their nuts dragged across shards of glass. there's also a heavy emphasis on exploration. theres a lot of side content to explore which is just as fun as progressing through the main quest. and sometimes things get so absurd, you'd think exploring other things before reach this point was the only way

Best advicr i have is to always ||stop to kill the adds. And all of the first brother's attacks can easily be dodged by jumping over. So do your best to take out adds before returning to him. If you damage him too quick during his stagger somehow it is possible his 2nd summon for help will be both his brother and the cymbal/flier bugs (i had this happen when i fought them on beast crest lmao) i also just recommend focusing down the melee brother first. The flying one only has a few attacks that are not too complicated on their own. Best you can do is find openings to attack melee brother and ensure you jump over the spears the flier throws (and dont stay next to them for explosion). Killing one brother does cause a lava wave to intermittently fall down the center of the arena, but with just the flying brother left it is simply a game of patience. Dodging his spears and trying to keep on the same side as him to attack, then avoiding his plunges in the air so you are outside the reach of the explosion||

I am aware but they are hand in hand so i see little difference. If you want the achievement then you do the climb. Theyre intrinsically linked even if you dont have to do thr quest to do the climb. You have to do the climb to do the quest. The difference is there but it is so miniscule that it is silly to make. If you do thr climb then you'd be a fool to not do the quest either
