They can't both just survive, or what's the point of the knight going up to hornet? And even if Hornet won that battle, then how did in the true ending did the knight go to Hornet in the first place? Dream no more has the knight assumingly going into the void. In my last argument, the knight in the cutscene seems like the DnM knight, instead of the EtV knight.
