Just a thought that I’m sure someone else has already found but based on this image and the footage from the new 2025 demo confirming that the right-side weaver door in moss grotto is still there, the symbol drawn on the map in the silksong trailer should correspond to the weavers dens/doors. I couldn’t find any repeats of the symbol throughout the portion of the map shown however.

I wonder if the pins team cherry placed on the map were strategically placed to block other weaver locations

this is my theory about the curse of silk and song: the higher being that rules pharloom is spiderlike and is the leader of the weavers until it slowly looses control of the residents of pharloom because it is not that powerful and comes up with some kind of plan then warns the weavers about said plan. the weavers leave and the higher being locks itself in the citadel, gathers all of its power and uses its silk to control the bodies of creatures and begins the curse of silk. i genuinely have no idea about the song. maybe the creatures hear the sng of the hb and that instigates the control

So it's probably a different character or the huntress evolves over time
