just like with ely egg, its inconsistent design that one can move and other cant; also it would make it more useful as it can explode

I mean in power scaling terms one is a dragon and one is moth, so a bit different

#

In game balance terms one is a super unit and one you get multiple of at once, and is renewable

I think there’s lore reasons why dragon eggs can move

Thematics here have to submit to mechanics, but I think AAIA is right that moth eggs are much more renewable than dragon eggs.

It would suck so bad if Dragon Eggs couldn't move. They're made on your cities and last three turns!

Nobody's arguing that.

I'm arguing that there's not an equivalence between Dragon Egg mobility and Moth Egg mobility.

Okay, and so am I, and AAIA. I just think your chosen evidence is not a good way of demonstrating that point of view.

Well, if it's circular firing squad time, I think your argument that moth eggs are plentiful while dragon eggs are few is totally irrelevant as to whether moth eggs should get to move. While the fact that Dragon Eggs mobility prevents them from having a huge extra cost associated with them while Moth Eggs immobility does not is IMO quite relevant.

Fair. I see your point, but I think they're both relevant. Renewability makes moth eggs inherently better mechanically, so to balance them they can't move. It's not a great argument, but it makes sense to me.

It might be ok if they can’t move and explode in the same turn
