#cymanti rework suggestion

ik but in the beta only warrior and shaman are humanoid
shaman can remain the only polytopian who converts other tribes
might as well commit to the whole bug thing is my point seeing the beta
Gotta be the worst suggestion i have ever read in my life.
The whole point of Cymanti is Human insect symbionts. That do additionally breed strong insects to lead their attacks.
Warriors are like the worker unit and shaman like the cult leaders, they dont do non spiritual work themself mostly and they arent enough to do so anyway.
I have no actual words to define how nonsense this suggestion is. It serves no purpose and makes no sense lorewise. The suggestion only exists because OP is too lazy to understand lore. And hence, dont recommend anything.
The only gameplay reason to even consider this is to be able to build unique units when the game starts. That have some advantages over warriors. Which btw would be unbalanced anyway.
Dude, calm down

I do know the lore. Maybe read what I actually said before assuming otherwise.

There are literally only two humanoid-looking units left. At this point, it’s like 90% bugs and maybe 10% human at best, so it doesn’t really feel like a true human–insect mix anymore.

Why are you taking this so seriously? It was just a lighthearted suggestion I made after seeing how the rework kept removing more humanoid units (like the swordsmen).

didn’t realize i needed a full lore thesis defense for a random suggestion
Reminds me of aquarion having mermaids instead of warriors
It’s cymantis last normal unit
i don't want the warrior for cymanti's to be different just a visual difference is my suggestion
dang bro 😭
There is a case to make lore wise, that being to establish the status of the ciru-merged polytopians
are they almost like “royalty”
cause a warrior isn’t a great example of that
There is a case to make either way
just the shamans being humanoid like leaders who control bugs and have the ability to attach their bugs to other humanoid units of other tribes as their new worker/slave would make it fit
the new monument of conversation can be attributed to it
fits with the new cymanti beta rework
just a suggestion nothing serious 😭🙏🏿
The direction they went with the mantis and moth does open doors to things like that
yeah... my point exactly
Congrats Antiochus. Your recent activity just advanced you to level 3!
Thats not how this works and you just outed yourself of having no clue. Im not even gonna waste my time explaining because you think you are informed well. Nvm the bugs arent mind control. And the shaman doesnt control bugs. And people sticked with a bug dont get mindless slaves 💀 This basically exactly works like with "Venom Symbiont" which is a great example how real symbionts work.
have u even seen the new beta? or played it yourself?
you know the lore more than me, good for you.
but the recent changes they made doesn't really feel like a mix of insects and human 🤦🏿♀️
i am only speaking from a visual stand point. polytopia lore ain't some sacred text bro go out some more 😭🙏🏿
types after saying won't be wasting time 😢💔
I have litteraly mentioned myself before that Cymantis insects are their main infantery force.
It was allways meant to be like this. And nothing actually changed that.
I changed my mind.
Just because i know Something better it does mean i dont get Out enough? Try to make at least real arguments other than using trending copypaste please.
first of all what
😭
second, i m not even saying my side is 100% right, i said just I'm talking from visual standpoint like what they did with aquarian
you're clearly more professional at arguing people online
so imma leave it at this 😭🙏🏿
The conversation could have been over at "gotta be the most stupid"
But you decided to argue that you actually know what the lore looks like.
Shouldnt have claimed it if you ask me
But i am done too. Its not healthy arguing over nothing.
