A general set of suggestions I came up with that maybe might address Aquarion's balance issues they currently have

  • Allow roads on flooded tiles
  • Allow mermaid styled units to use roads
  • Make tiles not flooded by default
  • Allow to flood tiles within borders as an ability (costing 1 star? 2 stars? Automatically? Not sure)
  • Make flooded tiles block movement similar to forests for naval units only
  • Allow more than 1 atoll per city
  • Give Yelly Bellys 3 attack
  • Allow both flooding (with units) and filling tiles to be available after moving

I'm with Midjiwan on this one - Aquarion can't use roads

I agree on this, based on all the talks i could get over here, these points are not the main problems of aquarion right now

Crabs aren't a mermaid unit. Neither is amphibians. Neither is tridentions

There's already a complaint that units like warriors or archers can become too slow towards the later stages of a game

Amphi are ocean riders, literally
So they are weaker than warriors but can escape

the real question is, does it apply the boost to non-mermaid units as well? How much is said boost? double regular movement, like roads, + half regular movement? + 1 movement?
