The idea of the marketplace is to have a version of a customs house that functions even on drylands or mainlands- than I ask- why is the clathrus unchanged? Shouldn't Cymanti have some structure that allows extra stars per turn that can be placed on land? My idea was maybe a Myconology Hut that produces extra stars every turn for each adjacent fungi and Mycelium. I'm hazy on the specifics but I think It should go in trade alongside the clathrus.

Makes sense, although I wouldn't expect a change of this nature to come through in this beta.

Well no tech should be useless

#

That’s the whole reason for tweaking this

#

Also cymantis main strength is it’s land units- Raychi are only used really to build bridges

# delicate spruce Mate, Trade and the entire Fishing branch of tech have been useless in Drylands ...

Trade gave the wealth goal and fishing lead to explorer goal-now- trade is actually useful with marketplaces (debatably) and you would never even dare branch into fishing tech because it is completely worthless with the addition of lighthouses. I suppose it could be better to just have them be useless- but it just seems odd because the wisdom task- as well as philosophy would litteraly encourage you to waste stars on drylands
