if a doomux or raychi (yes, this is possible) or segment explodes on ice, spores are dropped, same as when a poisoned unit dies. from there, you can break and freeze the ice, and you can grow and decompose fungi. This means you can have fungi and spores on water and ice. how to get a raychi on ice: move raychi to water, water and raychi gets frozen, when raychi unfreezes, you now have a raychi on ice.

#

Quick question, are other tribes supposed see spores? Because the Polaris can’t

No, only cymanti can see spores

Ah

#

Makes sense

#

What about the floating spores and fungi or the raychi on ice?

Raychi on ice is completely intentional. The same way you can also get boats on ice these days.

#

The spores I'm not sure, but that interaction has been in the game since day 1, so I assume it is intentional as well

Someone said it was a bug

#

You apparently can’t break ice if something is on it

That as well is completely intentional, although I do kinda disagree with them that it is for the better.
The Raychi on ice I am 100% certain about them being intentional. The spores on ice/water I'd say around 80% given how long it have been around and how often Cymanti has gotten small changes over the past years that fixed other bugs and issues. The only Cymanti bug that I am currently aware of is Clathrusses not connecting to eachother properly over open stretches of water.

I disagree with lizard, since breaking ice with outposts on it has always been part of the game as far as I'm aware
