Weird interaction with multiple accounts

I got some picture inbetween to explain so I'll just start the post like this

When challengermode first came out for Polytopia, I connected my polytopia steam account to it. I registered for the Bardur Bash test tournament.
Then when challengermode was added to polytopia android, I connected my polytopia android account. After this, it seems that my steam account was no longer completely connected. However, the Bardur bash still said that I was registered for that tournament as my steam account.

Then today came the day of the tournament. I got a match presented to me both on my android account and on my steam account, both against the same player. However when I tried entering the match with my android account, I got this message:

When I tried entering it on my steamaccount, I managed to get in, even though my steam account is somehow not completely linked to my challengermode

I can freely switch between both accounts being linked by clicking reconnect, but I can't get both connected at the same time,which is probably intentional although it does make me wonder why the challengermode screen mentions "your game accountS" in plural

But as a conclusion: the bug was me getting the match invitation on both devices but only being able to actually join on one device

Sounds like this was probably caused by the fact that you had Steam connected when you signed up to the tournament but then connected Android later. Did this issue ever occur to you again when you signed up with the same account as you intended to play with? Or did you receive an invite for both accounts again?

In the next tournament that I played, I registered with my mobile account. I could once again see the match on both of my devices but this time I could only join it when I used mobile
