Then there's some other problem on your end, but it's not with DSS. At worst some other mod interacting with DSS. #1028239457343778896 is where you want to be to see if you can track it down.

Does this mod balance out the weight of the attributes/interests/traits that you've selected? I used a mod like this a long time ago that was made by ONY, but there wasn't any weighing to balance out the stats
If it does, I will definitely install it

You can override the balancing, but by default it'll use the weights and scoring the game applies normally.
So to take X trait you need Y points to pay for it.

You have to manually go out of your way to override the balancing? You can't just do it on accident by clicking an extra few times?

interest point balancing has to be turned off in the mod config

you can also just roll for random dupes with a guaranteed trait
