Hi! First post in this channel. I made a wild Sleet Wheat farm for exuberants - any potential issues? Should I consider removing the ATST? (are wheezeworts in CO2 enough cooling?) Any other miscellaneous tips are helpful too!
#Exuberant Sleet Wheat farm (both as a design, and looking for advice!)

My plan regarding Rot Piles is to just make sure the room is not under 1800g of pressure, to prevent off-gassing.
How much food would this produce?
18 Sleet Wheat and 18 Sleet Wheat Grain per harvest, 22 cycle harvest time accounting for the 4 cycle period of no harvests, so about 14.7 Sleet Wheat Grain per cycle. Enough to feed just over 9 Duplicants on Frost Buns.
why co2?
Sleet Wheat can’t grow in hydrogen, can it?
Easy to obtain a lot of.
Hmmm, yeah, it can't.
Perhaps I should consider Oxygen for better Wheezewort cooling?
Or maybe use Co2, but run a cooling loop through that wont freeze, just in a loop to help balance it out? Probably requires supercoolant though, idk
I'm keeping it all at ~0°C, so Polluted Water works.
But I also want it to be Wheezewort only.
Alright. I'll revise the design to use Oxygen and remove the AT-ST. Thanks for the help!
Hey quick question did you put the pipes in after creating the tiles correct? As you can place the pipes into natural tiles?
He uses bridges over natural tiles
Or he uses a mod to place natural tiles
Or he can place natural tiles over the pipes that's why I ask. Because it might be possible just never tried myself. If you do piping first and then create the natural tiles. Won't the pipes stay?
They should stay
But as long as the advice part goes. I don't see a reason to waste 33% of the planting space for wheezeworts when you have access to actual cooling.
That was my question. Thx
As far as I know oxygen would be better for thermal conductivity. Not like it matters that much. I would use oxygen just for OCD
She, but yes I did use a mod to place natural tiles. Even without the mod, you can do the standard door setup but put pipes in beforehand.
Mutated plants require radiation to grow.
You can do that by using glass force and liquid vent, let under 1kg glass gothrought, disconnect the pipe and using empty pipe to make a natural tile with pipe in it
Even easier use nuclear waste. Pipe hot nuclear waste from your reactor through radiant tiles after you placed 1kg of algae or slime on them. The heat from nuclear waste will convert the algae fast to dirt and you can deconstruct everything without leaving some stuff in the natural tiles.
I'm not late-game yet. Still mid-game and my only resource I've already made renewable is water.
