#How well do the animated Spider-Verse films do at adapting Spider-Man Noir from the comics?

its tuff
A mediocre adaptation
Unless we are talking about spider noir 2025 comics
Its not looking good
Doesnt mean its bad
Im just not sure about adapting the comics
As he’s a cool character binded to WW2 reference
Bro daa its spider man
From the little i can tell from the trailers is that the noir and detective elements are surface level at best.
-# BECAUSE IT IS PRETTY WELL
Casting a 60 year old man for a role that is for a character aged 19 also doesnt help
Real
Which if we have to answer a question about adapting a source material, makes it a questionable choice
But that’s completely irrelevant to if it will be good or bad
this is about the animated films
It will be great i can tell
I know i was responding to something else
Cool asf
I worship at the alter of the Spider-Verse films
It's because the show is going to be fantastic
its was a good adaption ah jst didnt imagine his voice will be like that tho
you mean based on like what? 13 mins of content?
😭
I guess it did okay but it adapted so little this question seems a bit of an odd one to ask
and that’s me being nice idk how many voice lines he gets
i mean really the actual adaptation is split in 3 in a 30 second scene
so he got like 10 seconds
not great for a complex character adaptation, not supposed to be great, just a quick introduction and it does that well
and it lines up with the comic
idk what the questioner rlly wants ppl to say
😭
Cuz it wasn't that bad so in my opinion it was pretty well
havent watched the films and havent looked at the comics
Pretty well
It’s not really the tone of noir and he’s more of a joke
It was fun and good for the movie but not an adaptation of its own right
I chose okay because there are some things about the character that the movies get fundamentally wrong like making him a webslinger
i think an older spiderman who dosent really need the intro and is already esablisthed would be cool and it seems like the direction there going in i hope they do this in the reboot tbh i hope everyone is assumed to already be there and not need to much of an intro but more learn where in there life as heros and villains they are like what if we got peter and then he fights venom bc they already know eachother
