Bit of info on each story:

Avengers: Cap finds out what the Illuminati did, and what follows is a confusing journey through time while they’re fighting Iron Man. Wouldn’t recommend in the slightest as a tie-in, this is probably a good arc if you’re reading the entire Avengers run, but it does not work as a tie-in.

Deadpool: Deadpool has a daughter, and thanks to Original Sin one of his friends finally knows where she is. Well written and fun Deadpool story that can be followed on its own easily.

Mighty Avengers: the first issue mostly deals with Blue Marvel, good friend to the Watcher, mourning his loss together with the Watcher’s wife. Probably the closest thing we have to a real tie-in. After that, the story turns into Luke’s dad fighting weird vampires, which wasn’t all that interesting

All-New Invaders: Radiance and the original Human Torch star in this story about a mission of the Invaders decades ago, involving the grandma of Radiance. Not the best story here, but quite interesting still.

Nova: Nova learns about his dad and travels space together with Rocket to find out more. Possibly my favorite story here.

Hulk vs. Iron Man: Banner finds out Tony messed with the gamma bomb the night before he turned into the Hulk. Lot of action with some lore throughout, fun story that keeps you guessing as to what happened until the very end.

Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm: Thor has a sister, and goes on a quest to find her together with Loki. In doing so, they discover a tenth realm. Not the best story, but decent enough and does hold some important changes if you’re reading Aaron’s Thor, like me.

Fantastic Four: Sue and Reed deal with losing custody of their kids, while Ben goes berserk on Johnny over something he did in the past. Decent story on its own, but probably a lot better when read as part of its run.

Daredevil: Matt learns secrets about his father and goes to his mother for answers. As a DD fan I’m a bit biased, but this was great SpideyThumbsUp

Amazing Spider-Man: Peter learns about the existence of Silk and goes to free her. What follows is a “standard” adventure where the 2 team up. Good stuff!

Uncanny X-Men: one of 2 tie-ins that seemingly didn’t even jump off the main event, and as such truly has nothing to do with Original Sin. Beyond that, the current day part of this story was quite mediocre on its own without context, but the past day stuff was interesting. One of the worse tie-ins.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Peter tells Gamora what happened in the Cancerverse. Decent, though probably a lot better in the context of the full run. Also did not jump off the main event, like UXM (both written by Bendis, coincidence?)

Original Sin: Secret Avengers Infinite Comic: Nick Fury jr and Coulson go on a secret mission after a mistake Fury made. The worst of the tie-ins for sure. Was very incoherent and the old Infinite Comic format was a mess.

As you can see, all are just kinda random stories here, but imo that was a fun change of pace for once (though I do still prefer the more “regular” event structure). Like I said most tie-ins are quite fun, so just read the ones that seem interesting to you. The following tie-ins I’d avoid, either because they don’t work without context of the run, or simply because they’re bad (or both!):
Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Secret Avengers Infinite Comic

@proud spindle since you wanted to know what I thought of the event, here’s a ping :)

Thank you, though I would probably have noticed even without as I check this channel regularly :D
(I'm commenting everything here, even though you made multiple posts)
Nice to hear that this weirder kind of event worked for you. As I may have said, I only read the main book and Tenth Realm as part of my Thor read, and I have also read the ASM issues years ago. As I haven't read it yet, I didn't even realize that Hickman's famous Avengers run crosses over with this.
That Annual sounds interesting, might have to check it out at some point. I know some people hate Nick Fury Sr.'s treatment in this event, but I found it interesting and not too out-of-character for him. In case you weren't aware, this event's purpose was to ||get rid of Nick Fury Sr. as a character. MCU synergy introduced a black Nick Fury (Jr.) a couple of years earlier, and after having two Furys running around for some time Marvel decided to get rid of the old one. As Fury Sr. was often written better than Fury Jr. is being written now, it was sad to see.||
