Still one of my favorites stories I've ever read

I guess I’ll find out soon! I do remember not being as big a fan of the second half of this particular story (messing around with time always bothers me if it’s not done somewhat right, and Aaron did not do it right)

God Butcher is one of those stories that I do like, but I think are not worthy (heh) of all praise it gets. It has some cool ideas and gimmick ||that continues though the whole run|| and Esad Ribic's art is at least better than in Gillen's Eternals good. And this is 10000% better than that atrocity of an adaptation! But I think like the other parts of Aaron's long run more, and Simonson's run remains my favorite Thor

This story slaps, i liked God Butcher the most out of all of Aarons runs. Feels like one of the few stories everyone can agree is great from him

Luckily I’m reading all of Aaron’s Thor so I would be very happy if his other Thor stuff is even better!

God Butcher and God Bomb were the best parts for me easily

Idk I liked God Butcher a lot but God Bomb was a serious step down, Aaron messed up the time travel stuff

That bomb had no logic at all

Well, I don't like either when time travel is done wrong, but stuff like that bomb can be put under "because comics" imo

Well yesn’t, my trouble isn’t a bomb that can kill all gods through time (bc yes that’s just “because comics”), but more what activating that would mean. Odin would die an infant, Thor would never be born. Even if you look past that, all Thor’s would suffer, including Thor from issue 1, so the entire story should just have been Thor screaming in pain. Like is said, bomb is stoopid

Well you do know my comic tastes by now so I’m glad to hear it!

I say that because you tend to enjoy writers like Zdarsky DD and Taylor Nightwing and Aaron JaneThor reminded me of that tone/style in some ways.
