but for me it can’t be a peak version of the show if it’s not better than the netflix show and i just can’t see this in any way being better than that show— i don’t think many shows can be

but to be honest i do think people overuse the term peak like i don’t think thunderbolts is a peak marvel movie despite really liking it, i do think it’s better than the majority of the avengers movies tbf— but i see everyone calling it peak and im like fair but they also did this with f4– again great movie but idk if it’s the peak of marvel.

but i would say the new spiderman is lined up to be the best marvel spiderman movie yet

and i think if marvel play their hands right phase 7 could be their best phase easily

it’s about making sure that the fantastic 4 sequel isn’t anywhere near as sort of almost rushed as the first one— so developing it now is a great idea, i think it also needs a bit more of that iconic visual flair that it had for the first act throughout the movie and i hope it does great things.

but i do believe that franchise can get better so idk if id say we’re at the peak yet

it’s like wonder man— the reason it got a season 2 wasn’t because it was at its peak

it’s because it’s done well, has a decent premise, fairly great reviews and it has enough approval from feige and louis where they all think they can make the next one better

#

and why moon knight s2 wasn’t really ever properly greenlit is because of the lack of that quality and the reviews sort of only focusing on one aspect of the show which was well done admittedly but the rest of the show sort of suffered.

Even feige kind of threw a tad bit of shade at the whole show being rushed (which is obviously what it was) in an interview and isaac hasn’t really expressed any interest in doing it and has since said he’s never working for disney again so even though that wasn’t greenlit, it still definitely isn’t anywhere near the peak of what a moon knight show could be and i don’t think that’ll ever see the light of day.

I didn't like season one. It was not good. Ill say that. Worst daredevil season. Yet season 2 is really good

I will be watching it anyways because I love daredevil in general but I just don't like ddba. I loved the netflix show, and ddba has none of that feel. None of ddba has felt like daredevil, and especially this first episode in s2 felt so out of place. The writing/dialogue is so weird and I hate it. The lighting and feel of the show overall (even s1) doesn't fit at all. This is probably a nitpick, but the amount of cuts during shots bothers me too. The oners in the original show were part of what made it what it was. There were so many scenes they just cut and cut and cut and could've very well made oners if they even cared to try. I loved what netflix did, and you can just tell that this is disney.

for something to actually be a peak, it is something of the highest quality

and ppl absolutely can believe dds2 is but nobody usually says that when they say peak as you said— it’s like that punisher and daredevil talking scene

and in order to watch it and like it you have to know their relationship and what came before it
