I do think this comic is definitely one of the better ones if you like the movie
It captures some of that fucked up humor, the action, Blade's charisma, the gore, and the side characters. You can easily read this comic in Wesley Snipes' voice
While also adding plot points and characters you wouldn't see in the movies which is pretty awesome.
I disagree with Blade being nothing but gruff here. He has a lot of the same sarcastic comments he would make in the movies.
The side characters are pretty cool and interesting enough to support Blade's character which I really like. This the main thing that was missing from Blade comics imo.

It is a fun action comic for the most part and is a step in the right direction for where Blade comics should go.
I wish Marvel did more full ongoings though. I want to see full 50 issue runs again. Or at least 20-30 issue runs.

Description said it was an ongoing, but I guess it ended up just being a 10 issue arc. Anything below 12 is a maxi or mini-series.
Seems odd that theyd cancel it but then turn around and give Hill BladeBand a couple years later.
