You will confess.
You shall
Do we write it in here?
yes!!
jack kirby is my uncle
Spider-Man is the goat
Fuck
That's rude
Yeah no shit Sherlock
Stan Lee was my dad. He gave birth to me and I was born at a very young age. I was raised as a child and grew as the years passed.
When it says marvel origin story, does it mean when I first started liking it?
My name is Clint Barton. For five years, I was stranded on an island with only one goal: survive. Now I will fulfill my father's dying wish - to use the list of names he left me and bring down those who are poisoning my city. To do this, I must become someone else. I must become something else. I am.. the Hawkeye
yes ma’am
I love she hulk and hate deadpool he took her thunder
I feel exactly like this when I enjoy anything avengers related (not just MCU)
There was this one time I was on my way to a fan convention. It was my first one EVER. It was myself and a few friends, we were all super excited. We heard there were actors there, which only upped our excitement. So when we get there, Chris Evans walked up to me and my friends and pointed us towards their panel.
"We want to buy you like One Direction." he said to us. And that was all I remember before Anthony Mackie knocked us all out...
Yes
My origin story with MCU:
I was 21 years old when an old irl friend took me to the theatre to watch the new Tom Holland Spider Man movie which was No Way Home. When it was that part when MJ and Ned were trying to find Peter and Ned opened the portal and I was completely shocked and surprised at Tobey’s and Andrew’s surprise appearance in the film and almost flipped out and also almost got up and spilled my popcorn and soda onto the floor and almost screeched like a dying animal along with everyone and my irl friend.
Here’s what my reaction might’ve looked or felt like at the time:
basically my life story (fun fact: i’m actually friends with the actress who plays america chavez!!)
i gave birth to tony stark at a very young age
So the only notable think I can remember when I first joined this server was when a whole buncha people (I was the first ❤️) copied KC
Cecil harem supremacy
Anyway as my introduction to marvel as a whole is started with Lego marvel superheroes.
I faintly remember playing co op with my dad while I was venom and we beat Galactus.
I would be confused on how people were getting Deadpool.
Good times
i once tried to explain the MCU to my korean grandma who has alzheimer’s, using loki and NHW as examples. she thought i was talking about squid game and called a priest. i didn’t correct her
my mom was a super big high jackman fan (still is) and when i was like 7 she decided that the best way for me and my sisters to learn english was to have us watch xmen. my first sentence in english (after “hi” and “how are you”) was “im blue”. my mom probably has a video of me saying that because it became my catchphrase for like four years afterward.
-> my marvel origin story
My first marvel movie was Age of ultron in the movie theatre when i was six but that isnt my origin story. My origin story is being in my AV/film class and he made us watch iron man and write down film elements. Well me and my guy bsf Brian talked about RDJ the whole time and ever since then I have been in love with Marvel! This one time i was talking about GOTG with my mom and she said she "likes the pink one with the horns" mantis isn't even pink!
When I was 6 my mom introduced me to the og marvel comic books and that was basically how I learned to read in English.. yeah I learned friendly neighborhood Spiderman before I learned to read in my own native language
once i was talking with some family and a friend about marvel, one of them also a marvel fan, the other three werent interested that much, so much so that one of them had fallen asleep (to be fair it was late at night)
getting deep into a yap about the mcu, the other points behind me and says spider (one bigger than my hand) and i genuinely leapt so high into the air from the floor onto the sofa and hit my head badly on the coffee table during it, waking up the other
(im spider-man trust im totally not scared of spiders)
- i guess this is an embarassing story lmao
never meet your idols yo. mannnn it all started back in the 1940s where I was jumped by a gang of bullies yo, so out of the blue captain america shows up and I was cheerin n all, basically a cheerleader yo, so then he one shot dem bullies and saved me, but the shocker was that instead of asking me if I was okay, he just looked at me dead in the eyes and said:
I was talking to my friend about the falcon and the winter soldier, because it's my favorite show like ever, and I mentioned sam and bucky and like how their relationship changed from that to thunderbolts, which btw I'm still mourning. She then goes "oh i don't like him, or his actor" so I'm like a little shocked because 1. I don't know which one she's talking about and 2. both characters are literally peak and regardless of what answer she gives me ill be very shocked. So I ask her which one she meant and she goes "Sam" and oh my god my jaw dropped bc not only does she apparently not like sam but she doesn't like Anthony mackie and that's like mind blowing to me 😭😭😭😭 sam is amazing and so is anthony. I deadass almost cried there because sam is like one of my favs
Okay but jokes aside
I had a knack for anything that was superhero related (still do) so I was desperate to find any content, I started out as a DC fan but over the years, it evolved into Marvel, I was looking for a hero to look up to, sort of like uhhh, an idol. And then there he was, Spider-Man, at first I didn't understand, how the hell did that Spider part happen, so I read some comics, watched some movies, in fact, The Amazing Spider-Man 1 (from 2012) was the first Marvel movie I ever watched, I still love it to this day. Anything Spider-Man related I will eat that shi UP
(Live footage of me seeing him for the first time)
Real:
uh so one time when i was 7 or 8 my brother was throwing away a dew things as we were moving houses, one of which being spider man 2 (he LOVED that film) and while i was too young to understand the struggle of a double life (insert pharrel song here) i DID love that train scene (im pretty sure i dont need to explain the scene) and it was banger. and at this time i beliwve it was 2018 (after infinity war) that i actually became a diehard, i use the mcu and marvel comic wiki to get all my marvel information, i cherish the mcu. my brother still has it on blu ray w a side of some spider man comics, i dint read the comics until later tho
My deepest, darkest, Marvel-related secret is that I think this is one of the best Captain America outfits ever
The first Marvel movie I ever saw in theaters was Into the Spider-Verse (I'd seen plenty of Marvel movies before that, just not in theaters). That was pretty much the first movie that got me into non-MCU projects. It's also why I love Agents of Shield, WandaVision, TFatWS, and why I'm planning on collecting Marvel steelbooks soon ❤️
I realize that it said a 3-5 sentence paragraph…I was writing a whole essay 😭
I was raised by Tony Stark, so throughout all of his stupidness, he slowly introduced me to all the avengers. Peter and I are best friends and Wanda and I share the exact same powers (Tony made a machine to replicate them). Of course I have beef with Steve who doesn’t.
Getting into Marvel for me was a disaster. It started in 2021 when I just watched Wandavision for fun but I didn't understand shit so I spent months watching all MCU movies up till that point. But my life went on a downwards spiral.
I yapped too much about Marvel.
My friends didn't like it. They thought everything that came out of my mouth was lame.
Friends come and go, that's what they all said but my friends just kept going.
So that's why I joined Marvel Discord I was lowk lonely 😿
but how I actually got introduced to marvel? as a kid I was a big fan of superheroes so everything that I used to watch back then was about that, so I came across the spectacular Spider-Man show and of course I was amazed by it, I also had copies of the raimi trilogy and as I grew older I watched other marvel shows, best one Is I'd say "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes". but about my previous paragraph, the shocker was actually this one
OKAY YOU WANT THE TRUE STORY…
I KNOW MARVEL FROM THE 80-90s IRONMAN TV SHOW I STARTED OUT AS A IRONMAN FAN IVE BEEN ONE THIS ENTIRE TIME…
I ALSO GOT INTO MARVEL COMICS PURELY THROUGH DEADPOOL AT AGE 9-11… I LITERALLY ONLY READ DEADPOOL COMICS FOR YEARS 😭 ALL BECAUSE I SHIPPED SPIDEYPOOL WHEN I WAS 10-13
I also confess, that at age 16 I wrote the most deranged and to this day my longest written work ever is ā Ironman fic that in which Ironman gets zapped and forgets he’s human. Also the green goblin in there I don’t know what to say it gets slightly incredibly ridiculous.
No, but the real way I got introduced to Marvel was I grew up watching it because my mom was obsessed. Even though she was mean by watching endgame and other movies in theatres without me because she didn’t mind taking me out of school it was rude. But now every Christmas, we have a marvel binge where we start either beginning of December or the beginning of October that way we can either get it done by Christmas or New Year’s. I have so many marvel items in my closet specifically Marvel shirts it’s insanity.
My friend and I, who are both religious, were discussing Marvel, and it came up that I identified as Loki (not in a joking way).
I also have a chicken named Loki, and I also have chickens named after most of the main characters from the Loki series (im a chicken person not dog/cat), and she said she had a dog named Loki
I said I loved hanging out with my chicken variant, and her dog variant seemed chill too
then she told me the dog ate his own droppings, and i was quite embarrassed after that.
In a different universe of marvel comics, Tony stark never became iron man due to him being saved by James Rhodes. Tony stark instead opened a school program to find young people who want to build technology to help the world, one of the them was Greg Collin (my marvel oc) who was not really liked because his ideas, Greg wanted to create something that can help and protect the world that isn’t a from a gun or control. Greg created the idea of the iron man suit, everyone thought it was a joke but Tony stark liked it and helped Greg fund it. Greg eventually became the iron man of his universe. Creating 5 models of iron man suits: model 1 (prototype), model 2 (final design) model 3 (upgraded), model 4 (heavy duty), and mode 5 (the asguardian armor).
The cringe part: Well I only watched Captain America Civil war for the airport scene, it's not really cringe but I find it to be because, why tf would I watch a movie only for the fight scenes 😭 back then anyway
The delusional part: I ain't ever had a delusional moment
My grandpa introduced me to marvel when i was a child, we had a ritual that everytime when there was a Marvel movie on TV we would sit together on the couch eating snacks and watching the movies especially Ironman. My grandpa's favorite Marvel movie was Ironman and the movies from him itself are the reason I'm into Technology right now, my grandpa himself was a builder back then for the "flying" trains in Germany called "Schwebebahn" and i wanted to be like them both, after my grandpa died 3 years ago I still have the ritual to watch Ironman and I hope I can introduce my kids later to it too.
Shit I’m happy you are okay though.
man i dont know what youre saying ive been watching marvel since i was in the womb. literally. i think my first movie was iron man. my deepest darkest secret is that im ||dating bucky barnes|| no but actually i kinda think ant man 3 is solid.
now for the real tea.
so one time when i was in primary school like a long time ago my english teacher used marvel to teach us how to write convincing dialogue. so naturally she asked us what our favourite marvel character was and someone said superman. i literally crashed out and everyone looked at me weird
I remember one time me and my dad were walking down the street of new York one time then my dad started pointing at a random man and yelled "isn’t that Iron Man? From the movie?" I was so embarrassed and the guy looked at us funny. And I turned and walked away from my dad. (It's an embarrassing moment) the guy didn’t even look like RDJ.. just the haircut
oh i just remembered about the same time as this i started trying to draw but didnt actually learn how to draw (i only tried to learn art in covid) so i had this book of little marvel characters which i would doodle in so one day my classmate literally creeped up on me and saw my quote unquote art and asked me who that was and i told him it was the winter soldier. apparently my art sucked then and he laughed really really hard and it caused more people to take a peek and soon enough there were like 10 people laughing so thats why didnt want to draw anymore. until i graduated from that school that classmate literally would go out of his way and whisper in my ear "winter soldier". but eventually i got back into art but that was really embarrassing ig i dont think im getting the role my life stories are absolute dogshit💔💔 (edit: the timeline may be weird when you read it so this happened before i started learning art and i only started learning art during covid)
okay, trying this again with a different story which is maybe a little more unhinged: my aunt writes for movies and tv (as a screenwriter and part-time director), so she gets to go to the filming sets of a lot of cool movies and shows. i mentioned to her that my favorite tv show (at the time) was punisher, and she said that she actually knew one of the directors, so she somehow managed to get me on-set to meet some of the actors. after a while someone came in with donuts and i was offered one so i go to grab one and some hand comes to grab the same donut as me so i snatched it and ran back to my aunt and it wasn't until i was back at my chair that i turned and saw i had just stolen a donut from jon bernthal himself. i'm realizing now how this sounds like a fanfic but i'm being so genuine i almost pissed my pants in fear i was like holy shit i need to get out of there. i was so embarrassed that my aunt and i left right after that because i could not stay there knowing i had stolen his donut from under his fingers.
ok guys this is the fake story that I wish was true: im actually dating kate bishop but she’s kept out of the picture cause she’s scared of yall so yeah there u go
real story: anyway I remember a few years ago when infinity war first came out, I was a little younger and super excited to see the movie so my mom got us tickets for imax on opening day wtv 😭
little me loved spiderman so much I couldn’t even tell u how much I loved him, so at the very end of the movie when he got snapped away I genuinely started crying and my mom had to take me out of the theater while everyone was js watching us while im crying because I thought Spiderman had died 😭😭
im pretty sure most of the people who were looking at us thought my mom had hit me or something because they were whispering so my mom was hurrying us back to the car 💔
and no I still never got over the way Peter got snapped little me is forever traumatized
My origin was my mother and I watching “the greatest showman” together- she was already obsessed with Hugh Jackman but after that movie I was aswell so we started watching X- Men 😭. After that we got into marvel during Covid. We’d sit down every evening and watch one of the movies.
Embarrassing was when I then started reading those Wattpad fanfics during home schooling and my mother came in to check on me (while I thought she was out shopping or smt) and my screen was open on some one shot fanfic ✌️✌️🥀
The first marvel movies i watched was iron man and guardians of the galaxy when i was 5 and i found a video my mum recorded of me doing the same dance as iron man and star lord
My first MCU movie was iron man two and lowkey I had a huge crush on BW and when I told my teacher she said I was too young to have crushes on scarlet well jokes on you Miss MJ I still have a crush on her take that (she also called my parents and they got pissed)
dont ask me why but im posting for the third time. yes, the THIRD time. (please give me the role) does anyone remember the marvel bunch? like the jimmy fallon avengers infinity war promo thing? yes when i was ten i thought it went hard. i mean you cant blame me can you? you probably can but dont.
anyway third story so i got to see avengers endgame with my friends when it came out and we were really hyped for the portals scene so when it finally came naturally we were really excited BUT this one baby who decided to keep its obedient mouth quiet for the past 2 hours decided to let the most supersonic cry ever heard by mankind and so when the portals opened all we could hear was this baby. so anyways i decided to watch it again on the second day and thankfully there was no baby.
I have another story:
I went to see Thunderbolts for the first time with my brother and at the end of the movie while the credits were rolling, my brother leaned in and said “The girl (Yelena, he doesn’t know who she is) breathed like one of the characters from Endgame.” and I then gave him this look.
Not to brag or anything but... you're welcome.
Ever since I watched Daredevil about a year ago, I have wanted to become blind. I wasn’t sure how I would go about blinding myself, so I began brainstorming. At first, I thought I could try and save an old man from getting hit by a truck carrying chemicals like Matt Murdock did, but I thought that’d be too dangerous. I eventually figured that the best way to blind myself with risking my life would be to stare at the sun for a couple minutes. That is what I did. I stared at the sun for roughly 7 minutes until I could no longer see. I have now fulfilled my dream of becoming blind. My next goal is to go to law school. Wish me luck, everybody.
time for the actually real one (guys im sorry i have to get this off my chest)
one day Gartin Moodman went into a comic store (in ny i think, during a holiday) and he actually went to the back(shot). but little did he lnow that this was a "pre-ordering" session for future HYDRA agents, and so he met stan lee who is esseantially the queen bee in this operation (and thus Gartin is my biological father) he's no longer w us tho (he confused a gamma bomb for his mid afternoon snack). however stan does NOT want to pay child support, so this guy gave me a single comic when i was 10 (binded together with a gooey liquid), and some bs excuse about him not seeing me bc im a nexus being (child support CANNOT be that expensive) and now his "TVA" agents who are like also into my fav marvel hero, superman (tryna deport me or sum, this is what i get for being chinese) are hunting me down
MyDoom is friend
Confession: I think Ms Marvel is a good show.
I was watching Endgame with a friend one time because at the time I’d never seen it, so like, I was totally not expecting anything really. And the end really, really shocked me when Tony died and I was totally blank faced (I am still upset over it but I didn’t really show it in my face 😭). After the movie finished, my friend turned to me to ask what I thought, I didn’t say anything atp and I think I said it was good or smth and I then got up and went to the bathroom 🙃🙃
my marvel origin at the time has gotta be late 2023? this was when loki s2 was dropping and my friend was, respectfully, going batshit crazy (who wouldn’t) but because me and my other friend didn’t understand what they were going feral about they were like “okay, thats it, we’re doing an entire marvel movie marathon in chronological order”..so we did that until..january? or february of 2024, and i got OBSESSED with marvel. watching gotg 3 was absolutely gut-wrenching and so were all the movies leading up to endgame (tony come back the kids miss you)
fast forward to late 2024, i got into daredevil and the new marvel releases, and then into early 2025 when i made a new friend who got me into their friend group which then lead me to joining this discord
(real/gen) so my marvel origin all started with guardians of the galaxy but also the deadpool and wolverine movie. In like 2021 my father had decided to introduce me to gotg1&2 and i loved it so much but i never really got into the mcu or marvel after that because I was like 11 and hated trying new things/making commitments so i left it there. Now time skip to summer of 2024 I was scrolling on pinterest and saw a dp&w meme, since the movie had just recently come out, and i found it very funny and so like I fell in love with this movie especially deadpool and the poolverine ship (i still am sue me) so I had a whole hyperfixation on deadpool without even watching the movies but I had already done so much research on him that I already knew what happened in all 3 movies + comics. so I decided to watch the xmen movies and deadpool movies and then after that is when I started watching the mcu and a bunch of other non mcu stuff too and it totally changed my life because now I'm super obsessed and even got into the comics, my entire room is marvel and marvel is all I ever watch, so thank u to that person that posted this meme bc marvel has become my entire personality (´꒳`)♡
I started taking interest in marvel in 2023, when I watched spiderman no way home, then for some weird reason I only saw all the spiderman movies and searched in what all marvel movies was he there. So, I saw infinity war and endgame for the first time without context (whole experience was ruined in a way), then after a few days I took a fresh start and began watching the movies and shows according to the timeline. And now I am a marvel fan :)
my friend kept convincing me to watch MCU movies (as she should!!!), but i just wasn't rlly interested in it. i haven't seen anything at that time, so i was like "man, this is yet another fandom"........ however, in November 2021, i watched the 1st Cap America movie and then, in 2022, i continued watching the remaining movies. i ended up loving it sm!!! i started reading Marvel comics last year in September and i think Marvel has become my biggest obsession ever over the years 😭 i'm literally consuming all the Marvel stuff like my life depends on it
My brother introduced me to marvel with the animated series Spiderman (the comic accurate one) and I started watching mainly the animated ones since at the time I was like REALLY young and wasn’t old enough for the MCU things, apparently when I first watching a Spiderman movie I started to cry and I yelled out “WHY IS HE NOT HOT?”… I was 9.
LMFAO WHAT..😭
I was introduced to Marvel when I was 7, so around the time of the first 'Iron Man'. It still has great actors and story to this day. Then right around when 'Avengers Assembled' came out, it got me into the wider universe of Marvel....X-Men, fantastic four, wakanda, etc.
Almost the first Marvel movie I watched was Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but I don’t really remember much from it, so yeah. I started watching Marvel movies around 2018–2019. My first movie was Thor: Ragnarok, and I got so hooked by the ending that I bought a CD of Avengers: Infinity War. After that I watched Avengers Endgame of course. Between 2020 and 2021, I caught up on the older Marvel movies. In December 2021 I watched Spider-Man: No Way Home in the cinema, and I thought I had seen everything. But no, there were still so many movies and shows I hadn’t even touched.
So in 2024, I finally got Disney+ and started watching everything. Now I’ve finished all the movies and series (except the new ones) because I'm waiting to buy another Disney+. I also read Marvel comics every now and then. And in 2024, I downloaded Marvel Rivals and now I have more than 320 hours in it (183 of them are just on Groot).
I’ve seen everything with Groot whether it’s movies, comics, or games😭
Groot is my favourite
Yall okay idek when i started getting into marvel. As far as i know my brother has been getting indoctrinated into the fandom by my dad since fucking iron man 1 came out (a couple months before i existed). my earliest memory of a marvel movie though is guardians of the galaxy, which is probably why its always gonna be one of my favourites. My dad had me listening to that fuck ass soundtrack 24/7 and ive known the lyrics to come and get your love since i was like 5. ive never really gotten out of my marvel phase since then? weve gone to see literally like every marvel movie in the theaters when it came out (if it did come out in theaters) so. obviously i didnt really remember some of the earlier movies so i started rewatching right after i watched thunderbolts because i realised hey. What the fuck happened in captain america the winter solider and by doing this ive dug myself a deeper marvel obsessed hole. apart from the movies though!!!! id love to start reading the comics but one thats money and two i wouldnt know where to START . i was at a library book fair once and i found THREE moon knight comics for like a dollar each and thats all ive got 😭😭. and theyre all from like after the series came out so fuck if i know the mk origins!!! imma get real bored one day and try to find out though
Okay fuck that was more sentences than i thought itd be
I randomly started watching all of MCU and developed an interest for marvel and I also watched Loki with my dad and it was the ever marvel show I loved and watched
I once told someone that Deadpool is my spirit animal, and when they rolled their eyes, I whispered “maximum effort” and walked off like a myth. I’ve got a headcanon where Wade shows up at my job uninvited, brings chimichangas for the office, and offers unsolicited life advice like, “Unicorns are real and Friendship is magic.” And every now and then, when life gets weird, I lowkey hope it’s just Wade messing with the timeline again.
(not the you - I syntax error gosh thats embarrassing....)
It was Fourth of July. Me, my dad, and my sister went mini golfing. I didn’t drink water at all. Later, we went across the street to our neighbors house to have a barbecue. When we were home, I got nauseous, so I got a bowl. A little bit after that, I started to throw up on the blanket I was using, and my dad put the bowl on my lap. We missed the fireworks, BUT I got to watch Thor: Ragnarok and sit around.
The fireworks were cancelled next year because of an incident in my town that made national news.
I was about to give up on Marvel. I was on the verge of just moving to DC completely and never looking back. However, I decided to give Marvel's newest movie, Thunderbolts* a try. And boy was it worth it...
I fell in love with Bob.
I'm now married to Bob Reynolds so now my name is Aidan Reynolds. We're about to have our first child... isn't that amazing?
Nothing's gonna stop us now...
do you want me to play an emotional song
whats the childs gender and name gonna be
Cue the song, Nothing's gonna stop us now by Starship
It's a gurl

My indoctrination into the Marvel fandom is kinda boring; my dad had started me with the first two Hulk movies and the Sony Spider-Man movies, and prior to that my Marvel knowledge was limited to some fridge magnets we had. We went through the MCU and actually caught up with the release schedule the night before we were going to see Infinity War in theaters. It actually wasn't until mid-2023 that I really started interacting with the fandom in the form of this server, and I'm gonna keep it a buck, it was probably the best few weeks I'd ever had with Marvel. Keyword there being 'few weeks', as I left the server shortly after for the next two years until just about a week ago due to some of the most horrendous infighting you'd ever seen, which I will not get into (it'd make this far too long, it's getting too long already). Either way, coming back to the server a week ago was like stepping into a completely different fandom, it's in a much better place now and has honestly re-inspired my love of Marvel (as well as going through the MCU with my little brother for the first time, which has made me unimaginably happy). which is lowkey boring i wish i had a funnier story
-# (real 😓)
I got into Marvel summer 2024; my friend invited me to go to the movies with her (Deadpool & Wolverine), and I just accepted my fate because I didn't want to upset her. We went, I loved it, but what I loved the most was Hugh Jackman. When I tell you I was obsessed with this man. I watched all the X-men movies in two days, bought merch (yes, the Wolverine claws too), wrote literal essays about how this man is misunderstood, drew him, painted him, and I ended up watching the movie thrice in theaters in the span of 2 weeks (w/the friend, my dad, my then-boyfriend/ current ex) ...Only to end up watching other Marvel movies and liking another character more. (Sorry to the calendar of Hugh Jackman that is currently hanging on my wall and staring at me, and to the people who had to read this. 💔)
You guys will all be invited to the baby shower btw
YESSSS
I was introduced to Marvel by my father, who loved Marvel properties. I watched all the MCU movies in theaters starting from the Avengers in 2012 with my family. Then, thanks to a subscription to Marvel Unlimited, I was able to fully engross myself with Marvel comics
I was introduced to marvel from my auntie who let me watch the first iron man when I was 3 but when I officially knew I liked marvel was when iron man 3 came out and my mom took me to go see it on my birthday and it made me so obsessed with everything superhero and it became my childhood and non childhood obsession since like forever and it has even inspired me to do server things in life and it started my writing “career” (I don’t get paid 😭) and I use to build some diy props from the movies games and comics when I was younger some things like magnetic web shooters and like a repulsor glove but yeah that’s my origin story
Back in 2012 when the first avengers came out, my dad took me to see it. Seeing all the heroes together on the big screen impressed me. I was amazed by the way the team built up throughout the film all the way to the final battle. Since then, I have seen every, if not, most marvel movies in the theaters. Seeing the avengers back in 2012 was amazing..dare I say, fantastic
Photo of me at a meeting in 1996 to discuss the bankruptcy of Marvel
I am secretly a Peter Parker from an alternate universe, but even though I also have spider powers I chose to keep mine secret bc after reading the comics I realized that being Spider-Man is what's messing up Peters life. Also there's not really any major crime here, so instead I'm just following a path in engineering
I started crying and cheering when spider-man was resurrected in endgame and I got weird looks💔
real 😭
Okay. When I was a little kid, I liked Marvel because of my dad. I would watch the movies with him and he's the reason I love Moon Knight so much. One day, my dad was cleaning out his stuff and before he threw it away, was a Moon Knight comic. This happened a week before the show came out, which made me more excited since I didn't know my dad knew the character. Every week I loved the character more and more. And now, he is my favorite character thanks to my dad.
When I was little, I really liked marvel cause my dad got me into it. But I fell out of it—around when endgame was coming out. I remember him asking me to go watch endgame the day it came out in theaters..and I said no. I’ll never forgive myself for missing such a cinematic masterpiece
as a kid I used to cry my heart out if my mom refused to get me the Spider-Man action figure (I got the same one like 4 times and broke it all times, it was for the lore, Spider-Man had to lose to batman who had prep time(I didn't even know what prep time was at that time but yeah I always preferred batman😭))
-# real origin
i had been roughly into marvel since about the first iron man movie came out, but not a die hard fan as i was a literal child and had no idea what was happening. well apparently one night i was watching iron man with my mom (who got me into marvel btw !!) and i refused to go to bed until i saw iron man on the tv. well tony stark WAS on tv but i could not comprehend that he was iron man and would not sleep until i saw the suit. . .
the memories i do remember was when i was in grade 2, on sunday mornings i would wake up early and watch the first two avengers movies and captain america movies with my mom on FX. so basically i was raised into being a captain america fan from day one. i was also terrified of the x-men movies and refused to watch a single one as a child. we even saw civil war, gotd2, and infinity war in theaters! eventually when endgame came out my mom surprised me with tickets and i went wearing a captain america bow in my hair</3
we still see marvel movies in theaters together of course and for the past 2 birthdays, we went and saw one:)
-# embarrassing moment
i used to only refer to marvel characters as their superhero names because i REFUSED to refer to the actors as their real, birth given names.
i also wasn’t on social media for the avengers tower fanfics. . . ouch embarrassing
never forgetting to put my phone on dnd again
FANDOM ORIGIN STORY, HELL YEAH--
I started getting into Marvel last summer. I was sick in bed, hardly eating, hardly drinking water even-- just tired and in pain. I began to wonder if I could ever feel better. If someone could save me even. Despite being skeptical at first, I decided to watch Spider-Man Homecoming on Netlfix because it looked like a fun time-- and because I thought I was gonna die anyway so I might as well have put my ego aside and enjoy a fun movie.
Sure, the start was kind of intriguing with the wrecked Avengers Tower and the prospect of the Vulture but that I didn't care about. Peter Parker changing in front of a sickly me in bed on the other hand? (He was on screen btw) I was like:
"Ope-- should I be watching this without my Mom knowing!? flustered Ebyla noises"
Though at the same time, that was ONE way to keep my interest--
normally after watching a movie at the cinema, my dad and i yap about it on our drive home; we were silent the entire drive back from infinity war. when we got home my mom was like 'what's wrong it's just a movie' and a couple days later showed us one of those memes making fun of spider-man's death scene and we were like 'too soon'. well we've been going through the MCU with my little brother and my mom has finally seen the latter half of the infinity saga (she got burned out after guardians 1) and she saw infinity war for the first time about a week ago and she apologized to my dad and i for making fun of us about it when we watched it
Well, perhaps I was lying about my previous origins. However, I remain an immortal being. You see, I am actually Walt Disney. The stories of my cryogenically preserved head are partially true. My head is actually preserved in a pickle jar repurposed into a cyro-cooler, and I have been risen from the dead using ancient voodoo magic. Unfortunately, a savage cult made of Disney Adults robbed my grave and unwillingly brought me back from the morgue shortly after my demise, so that “classic Disney magic” could remain. I am forced to run my company from the shadows as these fans have chained my soul to this pickled prison, unwilling to let me relinquish my power. This is the reason why I’ve begun my secret plan of running this company into the fucking ground. That’s why Disney (and consequently Marvel) has been producing more slop, so that I can finally pass on into whatever’s next. The Brimstone Pits at the deepest circle of Hell would be a more enjoyable existence than being held alive against my will surrounded by Disney Adults asking me for more nostalgic remakes…
🌟 I was one of the first members of the guardians of the galaxy, but I had eldritch magic. No one knew about it not even me. The magic showed itself in a fight against the High Evolutionary… It was the hallway fight and everyone was fighting then I made a dagger out of the magic and kept stabbing the same robot over and over again until the end of the fight (the first time the magic was used) but something weird happened and a random portal opened and sucked me in. I was in a new mysterious world, didn’t know where but then I saw a bush moving so I slowly crept up to it and 💥! A BABY VERSION OF THE AVENGERS! 🌟
One time, my dad took me to watch No way Home in da Cinema, and I had no clue what I was watchin, but I loved it. And then, maybe a year or so later a friend in my class is like "Yo, watch Avengers!", and ofc I do it. And well, now it's too late to run. I love the whole dam Marvel Universe, with all it's right and wrongs... ESPECIALLY Bucky... and Moonknight... and Hawkeye...
This is a picture of me, unfortunately my face is completely frozen in a smile to mask the pain of my existence from the other cult members
I love this
It was early 2021, and I was on a break. I was bored out of my mind, with nothing to do, so I decided to watch a marvel movie. While I had seen some marvel movies in the theatres (like GOTG 1 & 2), I was never fully immersed within the world and community that is Marvel. After watching that one movie that day, I was intrigued with how the other marvel movies were connected. At that moment I knew what I needed to do. Within those two weeks that I had, I watched the MCU movies in chronological order, starting my journey in the Marvel universe.
I have another version that's pretty much a book report
Send it when you have the time! I love it when people share about their marvel OCs
People call it cringe but who gaf
This event is meant for you to be free and cringe, people!!!!!
It’s a cool photo! Just jarring to see a doctored photo of Zac Effron!
Thats Ross Lynch 😭
Honestly, it all started with the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies and the old 90s Spider-Man: The Animated Series. Those were my first real exposures to Marvel, and they just stuck with me. Tobey’s Spider-Man had this grounded, emotional core that made me care about Peter Parker as much as the superhero part, and it felt so human and relatable. And then the cartoon—it was just packed with stories, villains, crossovers, and that intense narration. I didn’t even realize it at the time, but it was introducing me to the wider Marvel Universe without me knowing it. From there, I just got curious and started diving deeper into other Marvel characters. But it was always Spider-Man who pulled me in first. Everything about Spider-Man would always give me hope because Stan Lee gave him emotion and heart and made the world seem less dark and Spider-Man I knew was always there to comfort me along the way so I commend Stan Lee for being a torch in the darkness. RIP STAN LEE
ok so the first mcu movie i ever watched was spider-man homecoming in theaters when i was in primary school, and then my parents took me to watch endgame solely because everybody at school was talking about it and i had no idea what the avengers were, so i was like let’s check it out. AND since endgame was only the second mcu movie i was watching, i had no idea about the existence of post credit scenes so i just got out of my seat when the credits started rolling and people were staring at me like i had just killed someone it was so weird 😭😭 (endgame ended up having no post credits scene anyways so the joke’s on YOU LOSERS ||/lh||)
but yeah this is basically when i really got into marvel !! i proceeded to spend the entire summer of 2019 watching all the older movies that lead up to endgame but you do NOT wanna know the order i watched them in 😭 i basically just put on whatever looked the most cool to me tbh… ||
||
💀 whoops
So one day when the first Avengers movie came out, I was excited and I watched it with my family, I was young.
Anyway when I was saw Loki my heart felt like it was turning, and, I was liking Thor in the beginning. Finally, I asked my mom who played Loki, and she told me, I'd never known that now Tom/Loki would steal my heart when he died in Avengers Infinity War!
Pls. I also got/ was jealous/ and happy when he got married. I want to go to London too!
I also do Spicychat .ai with Tom and Loki bots!
Confession Time, here's what I got....My fellow Soldiers will tell you I'm a Terrible Shot
OH I HAVE ANOTHER ONE when i was a kid my cousin had an iron man toy and we fought over it like crazy. one time i was at his house but he hadn't come back for school and i secretly played with it. it was really cool and im pretty sure my grandma still has it lol
Okay, here's my made up one ig. I'm Marc Spector, I'm Steven Grant, I'm Jake Lockley and we are Moon Knight🌙
I use to think Tony and banner was the same person because my dad looked like them thats also around the time I gave my sister a wet Willy because she said that captain America was ugly
So i got invited to a she hulk set and apparently got to even do a scene. To my surprise megan thee stallion was there and the directors asked me to twerk with them. Little did they know i had been practicing my twerking since i was two yrs old. So when the cameras rolled my twerk game was so good the crew started cheering for me. Sadly i got cut out from the shot because feige said i stole the spotlight
I remember the first time I was actually exited for a marvel movie was whenever civil war first came out. I was never really interested in marvel but I watched the movies because it was a way for me to get closer to my dad. when we saw the movie in theaters I was blown away. from spiderman showing up, to cap, Bucky and iron mans final fight, it blew me away and inspired me to make my first fanart of marvel.
i was the wedding planner for Aidan and Bob's wedding and it was so romantic when they said their vows I still get chills
I MUST CONFESS AHAIN
so unfortunately my message was deleted… 😞💔 fuck ass thanos. anyways, this is a short list of ways marvel has embarrassed me. starting off strong, i fell asleep one night with my phone in my hand while reading some maybe not so safe for work stucky stuff on ao3 (happens to the best of us) and because id overslept my mom came in to my room. she picked up my phone and right before she was going to see this absolute horror of a fic, my phone hit 20% and the little pop up saved me 😭 ik i already said this, but my girlfriend still remembers me ranting about sebastian stan about four years ago and she found it very annoying at the time (sorry 😞). another one was when i had a friend legitimately crash out on me because she was so done with me always yapping abt marvel (also my fault sorry 😭) and lastly i was in a barnes and noble id never been to before and i found a little corner of comics so naturally i sat ON THE FLOOR and spent like three hours reading comics until an elderly woman tripped on me in front of about twenty people so that was fucking terrible (please give me the fucking time stone 😭😭)
I’m safe
Me too
Dani is the best
Since it was done by a fellow villain in good faith, I suppose I'm expected to write something here as well.
I never liked the idea of the Eternals remaining idle, doing nothing while terrible things happened to humanity in the movie, just because they needed to stay 'neutral' so that humanity could survive on its own.
Do they see us as nothing more than their playthings? And you… do you think the same way as the Eternals, don’t you?
aww tysm
becoming a fan was a long journey, even before i joined discord. i thought i would make friends here who share my emotions - grief, happiness and sadness altogether. but when i joined this server, i never would’ve thought this was gonna be my fate.
everywhere i go, i see his face. every time i write, my trauma response comes up. every day i hope not to see it again.
natasha and that damn cliff
the way that i got into marvel wasnt really anything special but what pretty much happened was that i was super into dc and i had a friend who was super into marvel and on a sleepover she put on black widow and i swear to god i fell in love with florence pugh. I then spent the rest of the sleepover watching the whole of hawkeye and some of tfatws whilst she slept. i knew fuck all that was going on but yelenas cool so i didnt really care. i got really into xmen specifically from the deadpool and wolverine movie because my dad made me and my family watch the other two before taking me to the cinema to watch it, again i barely understood any of the refrences but i love laura kinney so much. now ive spent way too much money on comics for my mam's liking, all i think about is xmen and istg im gonna explode. 😋
Sigh. I don't want to confess again. My first ever fanfics were EXTREMELY graphic spidypool fics. I originally started reading them as a joke and I would come into school and tell my friends about them, to their horror. At this point I was in too deep and I couldn't back out now. I read maybe 30 of these... And would call my friends giggling about them because some of them were insane. Must confess I did kinda enjoy them.
My new confession since my old one got deleted is that I like Scott Lang more than Hank Pym. Not really for any particular reason, but it’s mostly because of the first two Ant-Man movies. I also like his suit more and Scott didn’t create an evil robot that wants to wipe out humanity.
Met a girl became besties got separated cus of some drama were both sad for a long ass time found out a mutual friend was an awful human started talking again got super close and were now dating and she’s literally amazing oh em goodnessssss @grand pasture teheeee
Canon:
I used to like gambit
But he has Rogue....
And I'm no homewrecker
and I love bob he is much better than gambit
thats so polite of you
Damn my silly one is gone but fair, it was boring
the most embarrassing moment was when i watched deadpool w my dad, i didn’t know it was R rated, neither did he🥀🥀 idk why he couldn’t do his research properly, i think i was 13 at the time
Resend it mate
It got nuked, doesn't that mean I make a whole new one?
No
The same story should be fine
Wait no nvm
It has to be new
uhhh i was a kid in sokovia doing alright, then I became an avenger overnight now I got to figure out how to do it right so much to learn and see. Up in the tower with my new family and a training that's just for superheroes. A whole enchanted world is waiting for meeee I'm so excited to be the Scarlet witch (yall im sorry this is SO dumb)
never thought id get sofia the firstd in 2025
So i was a kid in New York City when the void floated from the Avengers Tower and all of a sudden I was hooked on that shit like when can I meet this Bob guy and why is he apart of the new avengers, anyways, my mom likes Ava when Yelena is a lot cooler (this is even dumber than the sokovia one ngl)
Oh it's still here, still gonna make another one😈
I confess, that I hardcore ship tony x Rhodes in the comics, like HARDCORE SHIP IT. Like they have more chemistry than any woman tony has been with chemistry😭😭😭
I didn’t watch Marvel until I was 12, I even thought Marvel and DC were part of the same universe until I was 11 💀 Then one day, I got invited to see Endgame in theaters with three friends three times. (With 3 different friends) The first time I was completely lost, the second time, still nothing made sense, before the third time, I decided it’d be stupid not to try to understand what was going on so I looked it up and learned that there is part 1 (infinity war), I watched it online, and when I saw Endgame for the third time, everything finally clicked. I actually loved it so I decided to watch the whole MCU from the beginning. Took time… but here I am now.
So one time at our MPA....
My section sang,
"The Krusty Crab Pizza, Is The Pizza For You And Me"
When we had any rests during the marching show
Anyways here's another OC backstory here next
OH SHIT I WASNT ON LEMME WRITE A CONFESSION NOW
Once when I was little I was eating french fries at a restaurant and seeing how my ketchup ran out I dipped the one I was eating in the adult's "Ketchup". It was not Ketchup but rather hot sauce and my young ass ended up burning his tongue, and so me and my dad went to the bathroom to drink some water... AND THEY HAD JUST CUT THE WATER SUPPLY DUE TO THEM FORGETTING TO PAY FOR IT so we had to buy a new drink entirely just so I could drink something to ease myself
My confession didn't get dusted but there was this one time I got ragebaited by a dude named Akito; this was back in 2023, he's since left or got banned or whatever, I don't know and literally could not care any less. Either way, this godforsaken pile of flesh undeserving of the gift of speech had some of the WORST takes you'd ever hear, and my greenie ass didn't realize he was digging for reactions and got into an argument with him (which I proceeded to lose, he was ragebaiting after all). I fuckin hated that guy.
one time when I was watching iron man 1 when Tony was having a make out session with the damn reporter. I screamed because it was just a jump scare. I ended up waking the entire family and my dad just yelled. You can just skip it! I was like no! For like 15 minutes, my family was just standing in the living room watching the movie with me making sure if there was any other inappropriate scenes so I don’t scream, the only person that doesn’t wake up was my Grandma because she was heavy sleeper (I’m just writing random things)
Aufhocker
Beneath the drab concrete structures and the ever-watchful gaze of the government, a young boy named Erich Falck discovered a latent gift that would define his life. Born in a modest apartment in Dresden, Erich was an introverted child, often lost in his thoughts and flanked by the oppressive tension of a society steeped in paranoia. It was during a particularly bleak winter that he first glimpsed his ability. Erich could transform his appearance, an aspect of himself that would come to both protect and alienate him. The child who had struggled to fit in could suddenly become anyone he wished. He'd make practice of slipping in and out of identities like one might change through various coats.
As the years progressed, Erich became a master of his craft under the name “Aufhocker”. The alias that resonates with the dual nature of his existence. He was an outsider who could blend in seamlessly with those around him while remaining distant and detached. He moved through the layers of East German society, assuming the faces of officials, everyday citizens, and even the Stasi agents themselves, gathering intelligence while practicing survival in a world rife with mistrust. To many, Aufhocker became a ghost, a spirit lurking in the shadows of a country that craved stability yet thrived on the edge of chaos. The Cold War intensified around him, with the Wall standing as a stark reminder of division, as he navigated the streets like a silent specter, often grappling with the question of his own identity amidst the facades.
P2?????
Aufhocker P2!
In the modern era of espionage and politics, Aufhocker began to realize that trust was a rare currency in the digital age. The world had changed outside the gritty confines of East Berlin, and as his shapeshifting abilities caught the attention of those seeking to exploit them. Erich found himself grafted into a greater conflict. Now, between international intrigue, Erich fought to retain an idea of his true self while undertaking missions that blurred the lines between benevolence and betrayal. As tensions between East and West surged once again, Aufhocker became a reluctant player in a deadly game. He was torn between his allegiance to his homeland and the growing realization that the identities he assumed were beginning to overshadow the man he once was.
Totally real story:
I wasn't interested in marvel at all before but I went to watch Morbius with some friends because why not and it was so good, when he said "it's Morbin time!" I went nuts and cheered! After that I had to watch all marvel movies and read every comic and im a huge fan now
Jokes aside my ACTUAL Marvel origin is kinda boring; my dad is a collector of some kind and since I have been able to read he has given me comics to read. First MCU movie I saw was the Avengers because at that time I was old enough to see it. A little over a year ago I subscribed to Marvel Unlimited and it has opened so many more stories to read, because I don't live in a country in which most of the comics are released
since one of my confessions got snapped, but the other remained, i will confess again.
when i was 4, the song 5 minutes by JT and Madonna released. I remember that little me associated it with the x-men. Dearest readers, I HAD NOT CONSUMED ANY X MEN MEDIA.
When Avengers (2012) first came out I spent An Amount of Time doing Roleplay on KIK where I was gender bent Loki turning Natasha evil, long story short I accidentally sent an NSFW paragraph to the wrong group… to my youth church group….🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
Ha! You don't even know what you're asking me to confess (confess) You have nothing
I don't have to tell you anything at all Unless (unless)
If I can prove that I never broke the law, Do you promise not to tell another soul what you saw .......No one else was in the room where it happened.... Is that a yes? Um, yes
Feige kidnapped my family and threatened me to get into Marvel. I definitely don't have stockholm syndrome now.
When I was 12 I was closeted, deadpool and green lantern made me question everything. "It's all Ryan's fault." I muttered to myself, while watching green lantern throwing the space demon into the sun. Fast forward a few years, lots of denial, lots of Deadpool, Wade lives in my brain rent-free and I have DiD.
I kaka
Well, since my origin story got snapped, I guess I'll clear things up and properly tell you that BOTH things are a lie. You see, I am actually...
D.B. Cooper
Yes, you heard me right. Except, the story is not as straight forward you'd think. You see, I am actually a Crusader from the 11th Century who found the coveted Holy Grail. In my hubris, I drank from the cup and was burdened with the curse of immortality. For centuries, I was forced to wander the Earth, and then around the 15th century or so, I got bored of being miserable as hell and decided I might as well fuck around with world politics. You see, I have not ONLY been D.B. Cooper, but I have also been the following important characters in history:
- The man who sold Abraham the tickets to "Our American Cousin"
- Isaac Newton, and yes, I invented Calculus specifically to make all your lives harder
- Benedict Arnold
- The guy who really killed JFK (I was practicing using a gun and accidentally shot the president, I blamed it on Lee Harvey Oswald)
- And also, I was President James A. Garfield
You see, my history is varied and mysterious, but after my D.B. Cooper stunt the CIA finally captured me and I was placed into solitary confinement. I became a Marvel fan through the comics I was given and the computer that I stole from a guard in 2010. Honestly, I think the CIA forgot I'm even here...so yeah that's my story.
Ok so mine was deleted 💔 so here’s my fake origin story again
So i went to Cairo the other day and all of a sudden the sky started looking weird… then some purple thing flames went into the sky and Isaw a HUGE crocodile lady and a dead bird. I swear someone must’ve drugged me because it was so surreal.. then some guy in a mummy like costume came and saved the day. I think he said his name was…. Moon.. boy? Idk. Anyways so now I’m really into ancient Egyptian culture
u guys in one sunny day, i saw quicksilver and followed him down a rabbit hole. then i fell into a strange, magical world
there i met a mad hatter who hosts a tea party, loki who smiles and suddenly disappears, and wanda of hearts who shouted “off with her head”
as i tried to ran from her, i fell of a cliff and woke up in borderland where i had to play games and collect cards to survive. but maybe i woke up in a different timeline idk💔
Omfg I love it
I really got into Daredevil in 2023, and honestly, it changed the way I looked at Marvel. I picked up a few issues out of curiosity and ended up falling hard for Matt Murdock and the way he balances being a lawyer, a Catholic, and this brutal street-level hero just hit different. Talking with other Daredevil fans online, swapping reading orders, dissecting story arcs and it made me feel like I was part of something bigger, and it made getting into Marvel way more meaningful.
i am a huge mcu/marvel fan since a long time and so basically we bought a new house and i would get my own room in it and i had full freedom to design it. guess what? made the whole room marvel themed (i was probably 13-15). starting from ceiling fan, walls, curtains etc. we have a lot of guests coming to that house and well... lets just say i get embarrassed but i dont really regret it that much
My favorite marvel fan moment, the kraven cult🔥
i like playing with action figures and doing lores
BRAVO BEST MARVEL ORIGIN STORY for why you got into marvel
my origin story is that I got bit by a radioactive mydoomic spirit and joined the avengers and shook hands with captain america so I became
Oh I have the perfect one for this lol
Once I got a Lego set of the Infinity Gauntlet and I made it stick up the middle finger after I was done building it. I go downstairs and chat with my parents and my aunt/uncle, who brought over my cousins. One of my cousins goes into my room and takes the Infinity Gauntlet down to show his aunt/uncle since it was funny to him. My parents get really mad and immediately accuse me since obviously I’m the one that got the Lego set in the mail and I’m the one that was building it all day. So obviously I point to my brother, saying that while I built it, HE’S the one that made it stick up the middle finger. Eventually after some convincing my parents just let us both off the hook and later that night my brother threw the Gauntlet at my back full force and it broke and I had to rebuild part of it. Never letting my cousins in my room ever again, and also now I’m a bit more cautious about what I decide to blame on my brother because he has anger issues lol
OHHHHH ORIGIN STORY
It all started with Iron Man. I was just chilling, minding my own business, when BAM—Tony Stark shows up being a genius, rich, sarcastic, flying tin can. Dude had missiles coming out of his shoulders. Shoulders. I was like, “Yep. This guy? He’s my guy.”
At first, I thought, “Okay, cool movie, cool suit.” Next thing I know, I'm watching every MCU film like it's a mandatory class. I may not have the cash for comics (seriously, those things add up), but I make up for it with Marvel games and action figures. My shelf looks like the Avengers are on a lunch break at my house.
Now I’m too deep. I argue about timelines, I have emotional damage from Endgame, and I will fight anyone who says Iron Man wasn’t the backbone of the MCU. He literally snapped his fingers for us. For us.
So yeah. That’s how it started.
well too bad because it happened
