Man, imagine all the stuff Taskmaster could do with a symbiote

They would be both amazing with it for sure

Bucky has an advantage because of his arm being empowered by the symbiote, current Bucky wouldn't struggle a lot, the Bucky shown shouldn't have much problem especially if he isn't holding back

#

Lethal Bucky was fighting Daredevil, Wolverine and Hawkeye at the same time and only got taken out by Cap in the end really

Bucky would do incredible with the symbiote and his arm, but it's super close imo between the two

As much as I love Taskmaster I think Bucky has to take it, just because of the arm

Is this MCU or comics

Take both MCU and comics into judgement

Taskmaster would be wayyyy more dangerous

#

I don’t think composure or willpower is really a factor in this since characters like Ben Grimm struggle to break the bone at times

#

So it’s definitely a case of whose powers are better to begin with

#

And Taskmaster’s powers are wayyyyy more dangerous that Bucky’s

#

Venom is more dangerous the more he copies people’s powers

#

Taskmaster literally has the power to absorb powers and fighting styles and too an extent knowledge by watching ppl

#

So venom would have multiple people’s powers— or at the very least fighting styles and knowledge

#

Whilst if it bonded with Bucky— maybe it would get a metal arm but I doubt it

Taskmaster and Venom would make a better duo. It’s not just about raw power—while Bucky’s metal arm gives him a boost in strength, Taskmaster is more traditionally powerful thanks to his combat mimicry and adaptability, which would sync far better with the symbiote. It’s not enough to simply have strength; you also need to be able to work with the symbiote. In my opinion, Bucky’s rigid mindset and his history with mind control could make him resistant to fully bonding with the symbiote. (Even though this is about who would be better with the symbiote — if they can’t bond in the first place, does it really matter how strong he is?) Taskmaster, on the other hand, would likely embrace the symbiote, pushing both his own abilities and the symbiote’s to new levels. While Taskmaster hasn't directly bonded with a symbiote in the comics, his adaptability and cooperative nature are well-documented (Thunderbolts (2020) and when he worked with Mister Fear). Overall, Taskmaster’s skillset and willingness to cooperate would make him a far better match for the symbiote than Bucky Barnes.
