comics he looks so silly
but whats his name
AURELIA
SAME BUT BRO, IF YOU WATCHED XMEN 97, YOU WOULD KNOW
Some designs just look better in comics
NONO I DID
XMEN 97 IS MY GOAT
Plus the '97 cut ain't it
ALR BRO DMS
the live action one looks fugly
OKOK
thems fightin words
its like 1:1 aside from the eyes
what else would be fightin' words?
The X-Men show is up there for me
The most charismatic imo
Channing Tatum...
DP&W is the only version I ever liked
helps that they don't force some 'lady's man' shtick
he's kind of ajoke but has great fight scenes so that balances it out well enough
Ironically enough that's what makes Gambit Gambit
gambit's in my top 5 x-men
that's probably why I never liked him
im not gonna fight you on this but i love him
Every MCU character has funny lines😂
In their costumes I mean
yeah
but I guess what i'm saying is they didn't take a guy who wears whatever the heck he wears too seriously
that head thing he wears always bugged me
i got no idea what that is but i like it
and the cards attacks were actually better than I expected
archangel has the same thing
i forget if regular angel has it too
Even though I like Gambit, I know deep inside that his suit is the most impractical
to me he looks very overdesigned, like Jubilee
lol yeah
i think he does
i think he does
He does
ok.
i disagree with jubilee being overdesigned
ohh
ok i just never understood her weird yellow raincoat
but tbh I never understood Jubilee
im not gonna argue about like opinions i just dont think its overdesigned
the costume itself is simple
i don'thate her or anything, I just don't really udnerstand her
just very loud
yeah maybe loud was the better term
thats fair
She gives off the Carrie Kelly vibe of dark knight returns
SHE DOES
maybe if I reed more of her, I'll change my mind. I'm not the most well verse X-reader
Ye
i read some New Mutants, and I read trial of magneto
wdym?
After seeing actual Gambit in X-Men ‘97. I would say it’s the ‘accent’
Feels like a parody of Gambit
i'm not familiar enough with the accent to know tbh
I chose B,.....because I'm use to seeing Gambit,in that comic version.
not a comics reader so i’ll go with animated
The Gambit that never was
Hi everyone! Slight amendment to the poll:
Specifically about the whole portrayal (characterization, etc.), not just the design!
I just liked the actor, and the style
I haven't read comics Gambit much and I haven't seen dp and w yet so x-men'97 version it is
MCU one was the best because it takes a lot to bring these comics stuff to life
And they did that
MCU was good as a parody
It’s honestly between 97 and Comics
And 97 helped people know a lot about the character
But it hasn’t adapted everything
And the comics Gambit has elements from 97 and MCU
I like all of them and Channing Tatum did a good job as gambit
Plus he waited a long time for this
plus he made a name for himself there
comics mostly do gambit justice, but sometimes there are authors who mischaracterize him which isn’t necessarily uncommon. i believe the animated series x-men ‘97 has also portrayed gambit just about perfectly as well as the originally animated series x-men since it allows you to get a better perspective of who he is and where he comes from. i’m not too big of a fan of the movie versions of gambit. either they cast someone who doesn’t look like him in the slightest or someone who struggles with the accent. channing tatum did somewhat of a good job but i don’t think he’s the perfect fit for the role. tatum does a pretty good accent and he depicted the way gambit fights perfectly, but the way he does gambits personality does not bring the character justice. either way, I JUST WNAT MORE GAMBIT CONTENTTT. i hope he’ll be featured in another movie. :3
holy yap, i jst love gambit sm..
anddd in the movies, they neglect one of the most important features of gambit that not only make him unique but help to add onto his character. they never give him the right eye color. it’s disappointing since his eyes are a major part of who he is, especially in the involvement of his childhood and background. ðŸ˜
What did I say ,bub?
