Funny. It's just the Marvel Server for me. I don't want to offend anyone but maybe you are asking people for help, do some research or whatever?
Nah, it's easier to just shove the problem away from you to Discord.
While Servers with way more !active! pollers do as good as always.

If people are willing to look more into the Discord API, totally happy to receive that help
but while we're all mods, this is a volunteer job and we're not capable of dedicating all our time to this server - and for things such as a broken ping that doesn't have a massive detrimental impact, it's not very high priority for us to spend numerous hours trying to debug
and I've already spent multitudes of hours developing using Discord's API so it's not as if I'm making this accusation blindly/ignorantly, it's just simply a problem that i've spent too long on yet haven't found a solution, and I've just really needed to get on with the rest of my life
the simple solution at this point is just to manually ping whenever the ping doesn't go through
afaik from chatting to other admins/moderators/developers is that large-scale role/everyone pings have a tendency to be fiddly and uncontrollable, and it's really something that actually is out of my control
