You're just wrong. The textures are muddy, the in-suit tendrils are ugly and particularly stupid-looking on the head, and has a really pathetic and uninteresting story attached.

If it were armor pieces it would look far more like Harry's Agent Venom suit lmao. The only difference in the appearance are between the solid and more fluid areas, the latter made to look like an exposed muscle to give a more organic look to the Black Suit which, of course, is made from a symbiotic organism, and was an appearance that was not only well designed but incredibly unique to the Black suit.
