But asking this question made me think wouldn’t it be neat if we had an MCU project set in the future? Not the far future just somewhere like two to four years after the present and we’d have to wait for them to make a return or have a younger version of themself crossover with characters in the present?

Like for example, we get a film about -Placeholder Man- set in MCU, year 2026 about a -Placeholder Man-‘s origin story, then the next time we see him is a younger version of himself in MCU present as a side character where he hadn’t become a superhero yet and we see what he was like before. Dunno, just a thought

As far as the news came out about blade, the movie is set to be 1900s or something and related to the ebony sword

#

So it can be in the past and may be a little part of the movie can be present as kit Harrington is about to wield the sword in eternals post credits scene
