#Did Adam Warlock live up to your expectations in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?

He was very dumb
Atleast he wasn't rash
i didn't have massive expectations because i knew he was going to be a minor character
I really liked him, but i want to see more of him before i can really state my opinions i think
He doesn't really hold up to the comic version, but was fun in the movie nonetheless
I don’t like how they made him childish
my only engagement with adam besides this movie was season 2 of that animated guardians of the galaxy show, they are both pretty different
Same
I was kinda expecting him to be the main villain, ngl
Word
He kind of disappointed me but I hope they do something positive with his character in future
i think this is supposed to be a nascent version of him. Hopefully in the future he's more confident
He wasnt comic Adam, but I did like his initial good nature through his half baked character, like how he’s a kid looking at the world differently than the sovereign does
Lol smart
yeah
hopefully he has more characterization when he next appears
yeah
I didn't care for this take at all. I know it's a Guardians movie and all, but I was hoping for a more serious portrayal. Maybe I'll give it a rewatch and see if I change my mind, I haven't seen it since opening night
i mean, he as a person was fairly serious througout most of it
He was certainly violent, but essentially a child in an adult body, never taught morality or any such stuff. It was just weird and goofy to me
Expected him to be the main villain
i was hoping he would be more like gotg video game him
really?
I don’t read the comics
So my expectations were gold man who flies and shoots lasers. Mission accomplished.
Same here.
Had high hopes on james gunn for Adam Warlock
Go back and look at his first appearance
His live action portrayal was closer to that
Lol you only for yourself to blame for that one
Damn
The moment high evolutionary gravitationally uplifted him, it felt weak for Adam warlock
