#

What if we just have a suit without an ai voice talking to her and she has to figure out things on her own

#

Anyone tech savvy will use an ai tbh lol

idk

patent bolt
# ornate sigil Then again, I don’t think war machine has an ai

Well he does, it’s just not as extensive as F.R.I.D.A.Y or J.A.R.V.I.S where there’s a AI assistant speaking to him but he does still have some sort of AI that monitors the suit’s systems from the inside and gives him X-Ray vision and information on stuff

#

I wouldn’t mind the same thing being done for Ironheart’s suits

#

Riri in the comics has had multiple AIs

#

First was a Tony AI which was programmed with his memories while he was in a coma

#

Second (and current) is NATALIE which is inadvertently modelled after Riri's close friend who died when they were younger

Hopefully it got cancelled 🙏

#

They've talked about it at multiple conventions

#

It's all fully filmed

Unfortunately

#

We’re living in an era where Marvel just chose to greenlight anything and everything and can’t go back on it because a lot of it’s already been filmed, casted and/or worked on

This one might be delayed to post secret wars

#

Kd and sw are definitely getting delayed to 2027/2028

#

Due to the recent delays that pushed 2024 projects into 2025

ashen crow
#

But also

#

Why should this be the one to be cancelled?

#

it’s only right for her to do so.. hello?!!?

Eg the Shang chi, eternals, Spider-Man, and dr strange sequels

#

Those probably need to happen before secret wars

#

Moonknight season 2 and Ms marvel season 2 aswell maybe

#

And they probably need to do reshoots for this show to get it in a state they are happy with

ashen crow
#

To me that sounds more like you care more about those proposed projects than Ironheart

#

imo that doesn't feel like a valid reason to properly devalue the show

timid halo
#

Some of those projects most likely have high stakes/set up important information for kd and sw
While the others are only like half of the full story

ashen crow
#

But why does that matter? It's never been the case that all their stories need to be significantly contributing to the overarching saga, and many of Marvel Studios' strongest films haven't

#

The way I perceive all of it is that Marvel Studios are storytellers - while they have this overarching saga to craft, that doesn't mean that they should be disallowed to tell smaller stories

timid halo
#

Most of these characters were left on a cliffhanger showing that they were doing something. Whatever this is that they are dealing with. Happens before the big team up films. It seems these stories have to be told before them

#

Dr strange, moonknight, and the eternals were left on major cliffhangers

#

Ironheart wasn’t really left on anything

ashen crow
#

Frankly, it's not a mutually exclusive thing, and I don't think cancelling these shows are going to make production on others move considerably faster

#

for the most part, each 'subfranchise' works on its own schedule, then fits that within the larger schedule

#

Spider-Man's the only one to push forward to making a film every 2 years, every other film is produced when they're ready to be made

timid halo
#

We did that once. It’s called phase 4

#

Having to much at once dosent work

ashen crow
# timid halo Ironheart wasn’t really left on anything

Again, I don't see this as a great excuse to dismiss the show - the ultimate point of Marvel Studios making a project is to tell a story, and if they've got a story that they want to tell, does it really matter if it has to tie into anything else significantly?

#

I don't think it's fair to stifle any possible new characters and story branches in order to prioritise solely the stuff that we're already hooked onto

timid halo
#

I never said the project won’t happen
I said I don’t think it will happen until after secret wars

ashen crow
#

Mm, another person was wishing for it to be cancelled earlier

timid halo
#

If they really want to reintroduce her I think it will happen in armor wars

ashen crow
#

But still, what if Riri's (or any other character) got some character development destination that needs to be complete by (or completed during) KD/SW? Just because we haven't seen anything significant for her yet doesn't mean that she's definitely unimportant

#

Same argument towards Echo, Agatha, etc etc

timid halo
#

Maybe

ashen crow
#

Also, I highly doubt they'll release a show made in 2022 all the way over in 2028

#

Anyway my point is that I don't feel like it's fair to judge and criticize the importance of a project just because we don't know much or have low expectations for it

#

There's a chance it'll be bad, sure, but there's equally a chance that it's a good project that proves it's worth but it doesn't get that chance if everybody's wishing for it to be shelved

#

It's not a new argument here, but compare what people were saying about Andor before and after release

timid halo
#

Well I’m not in the Star Wars fandom
.

ashen crow
#

Basically everybody wrote off that show prior to release because it was about a mostly uninteresting side character from a film that he both debuted and died in

#

And then it turned out to be a surprisingly engaging show that everybody appreciated

patent bolt
#

It might be good

#

Most likely won’t be tho
