Absolutely agree. I woulda been very upset if they’d recast him.
I do also believe that I’d read an article of some kind saying Jon Bernthal would be returning as The Punisher. Again, I would have been upset if they’d recast him.

Idk, tbh, that's a tough one, because here is the thing, DD:Born again is a soft reboot so IDK how they would want to bring them back. Kingpin is the main villain obviously, but with how he dealt with them last time idk if he wants to repeat doing dealings with them again.... also idk how fans would feel, cause rn, DD: born again is a huge risk and already the fandom is split about it
Plus, we don't know if we will get luke cage, ironfist, jessica jones, punisher solo series again and "remake" the Defenders saga universe under D+ and more mcu synergy
