I politely disagree because they could do what the miles morales video game did and have Peter try and make friends in his community and or find a new love interest like maybe Betty Brant(Peter’s very first girlfriend in the comics) as they both work at the Daily Bugle or maybe Carlie Cooper who could be maybe working for the up and coming Roxxon corporation. I feel that if Peter distanced himself from Mj and Ned, it would allow himself to grow and become “the friendly-neighborhood spider man”and shed away from being “The Avengers Spider-Man”. As a long time reader of Spider-Man and Marvel in general, I truly think this would be the best decision; but I respect your opinion.

Bro no they shouldn't, it would completely ruin the end of no way home, yeah they can make some small cameo of maybe Peter looking through the coffee shop window and seeing Ned and mj but they shouldn't have a role that takes a decent amount of screen time, and how it ruins the ending of no way home is how at the end the studio basically went "we're letting the most popular character in our universe go at it alone" and then suddenly make him not alone in the 4th movie without exploring the concept of Peter going out there alone

I also have my theory that Ned will become the Hob-Goblin, it makes a lot of sense and there were some clues here and there.
