If babies/toddlers, could be as early as mid-twenties (assuming no one got pregnant as a teen, which is unlikely seeing as how it's Disney).

BUT, if stay true to the originals, mid-twenties would be really unlikely...Ben wouldn't have been believable to be a test-pilot at that age and no one would be allowing Johnny to go on the experiment (test rocket, if that's even what happens which I doubt to begin with that that'll be the way they go given space travel isn't a big deal anymore) in this day/age given his much younger age than the rest for instances, etc etc.

But anyways, as far as topic, I’d think it would have to have been something gained in the present…otherwise it would always be the question of ‘Where were they until now, sleeping during the world/universe ending lalala?’ and need some (ultimately) dumb explanation.
