#Are you interested in Emperor Hulkling and the Kree/Skrull alliance?

who?
Yeeeeeah, need more royal stuff
Easily yes its a really cool idea and hulkling is a really interesting character.
The fact we got basically nothing since empyre is a joke
^
^
no bc literally
Empyre was so significant and intricate as well like it had so many implications and yet its barely ever mentioned like what
π like the kree and the skrulls are literally two of the biggest galatcic factions and they've made an alliance centered around a singular person, that being hulkling
yet its only ever kind of just mentioned now and it always takes a backdrop in space stuff
plus I love wiccan and hulking they're so adorbs :)
The last time it was truly mentioned was in last annihaliton which ewing wrote because hes the only one who seemingly cares for space politics
I do think this has a genuine chance to shine in the mcu
bc secret invasion is coming up and the kree and skrulls are already a big deal and are played up as is
wiccan is also already established, so all we need is like a nod or something towards the direction of hulkling's birth happening
and considering he's an OG young avenger I don't have much doubt that he'd be introduced
I feel like everyone voting no just hasn't read comics π which fair but like lmao
I don't Even know what it is π
right lmao
yeah its kind of fair not to know who he is bc he hasn't been mentioned at all in the mcu which is how most ppl here see marvel, and even in the comics apart from the young avengers and the whole empyre event he isn't really shown too much
which is a shame really, its a cool character and the kree/skrull alliance is pretty signifcant and cool
I would vote no
but I don't wanna vote bc I honestly have no idea what any of those words mean
is Hulkling like... related to Hulk?
so essentially when the young avengers formed they all kind of took after specific avengers they liked in costume and in name
also why tf is he wearing Clint Barton's shirt???
here lemme get a pic
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
What
yea ik its not actually Clint's
but like damn he's just plagarising ALL the Avengers
so yeah when the young avengers formed circa 2005 they all kind of took after specific avengers they were fans of but also what aligned mostly with their powers
Yes
so the original line up was
but Hulk, as we all know, not sissy boy. Hulk straight.
IS THAT WHAT KATE USED TO WEAR?!
WASNT SHE LIKE 16 AT THE TIME π
Yes because hulk is hulk. Amazing and super powerful.
Man THIS is why I'm trying to focus on reading Marvel more this summer. I have no fucking clue what is happening in this universe.
wait but this isnt hulk???
man I'm so lost in this canon
I'm just sitting in a dark corner with Jake Lockley
Patriot who's the grandson of one of the original super soldiers and took after steve rogers namely
Wiccan, one of the scarlet witch's sons. He took after wanda in his powers but his powers firstly manifested as lightning powers and flight and he was a thor fanatic so he named himself "the asgardian" before he took on wiccan.
there's iron lad who is actually a teenage kang variant who travelled back in time to stop kang after hearing about the horrors of Kang. And he formed the young avengers, and took after tony stark since he basically has a suit made out material that respondes to his mind
then there's cassie lang or "Stature" who is ant man's daughter. She injected herself a shit ton with pym particles as a kid in attempts to give herself super powers and it worked actually
and then there's kate bishop and her origin is the exact same as it is in the hawkeye show
Dude I love anything wiccan and hulkling, but him being king of space has so much potential
but the issue is like
for some fucking weird and odd reason
they never switched Hulkling's name
like its weird
like the asgardian became wiccan and all the other names were unique enough
I just realized I actually don't really know Kate's origin
and hawkeye was a legacy
I mean I guess they kinda switched his name?
because he's reffered to as "emporer dorrek" because that was his actual birthname
so "emporer dorrek VIII" is kind of his title
yeah girl..
like from what I can tell Clint was probably drunk or something and after the hangover wore off he woke up and just had a sassy bisexual niece wearing his outfit
yes
and he wouldve stopped her except he's literally such a failson and she's too girlboss for him
sorry ive started speaking cringe
yeah the fandom wiki calls him dorrek
because thats his "skrull" name ig
since he's part skrull and part kree
and is royalty in both lineages
anyways uhhh is the Hawkeye show good? is it anything like the Fraction/Aja run?
will i like it if I don't give a single flying fuck about MCU Barton?
No
damn
wait but will I like it if I like Kate in the comics?
I didn't like it but also I can't decide for you
I've never actually seen AoU. Or the original Avengers. Or like any phase 1 movie besides the Iron Man trilogy which I have no memory of outside of a few blurry images.
personally, I'm just disappointed he isn't played by Joel McHale
I have no clue who that is
remember the bank teller from Spider-Man 2?
Why not?
also the guy who played Jeff in Community which is mostly why I think he'd be great as Barton
Uhhh okay
Hulkling mid. Nova better
I dislike the young avengers in general. They seem so lame. Especially Hulkling.
π
Hulkling is kinda cool
Anything for hulkling
Even if Hulkling is not Hulk it is still inspired by the Hulk. That's why I like him and chose yes.

Hi
Marvel needs more than just super heros and ovi that's the whole point of marvel but it should also focus on its universe overall and not just the heros aka the species in the marvel universe
It's going break Internet if it do happen
That sucks.
I think the Young Avengers are pretty cool.
You should! Avengers 1 is a part of cinema history
