Lots of people talk about MCU fatigue and stuff like that, and regarding that one of my biggest complaints is that super high stakes and just setting bigger villains up are poor ways to end movies

For as much as I am hyped for Kang, the ending of GotG3 feels more satisfying than Quantomania. A period movie can more easily just do a start and ending that doesn't have affect the main timeline

Or the current events

A movie set in the past can introduce new characters and do whatever with them with no consequences

It doesn't have the baggage of a "present" MCU movie

You can even make a trilogy or something where all the heroes die in the end

The only period film I'd love to see would be when Logan has his first film, like a 1800s to 1900s story of Logan, maybe we can find out he was in WW2 with Steve Rogers and Bucky

I agree. I’d love to see more of Logan’s story. Wolverine is easily one of my favourite characters in all of Marvel so it makes sense I’d like to see more of his origin.

As for Logan fighting alongside Bucky and Steve… The X-Men and the Avengers/Main MCU storylines are set in different universes. Perhaps there’ll be a multiverse crossover at some point but for now, the two universes are canonically seperate, to my understanding.

I mean when Marvel introduce their own Logan, like it would be awesome if it was a period film or atleast a bit of it like some flashbacks to James Howlett killing Logan and later taking his name, or a flashback to Logan in WW2 fighting along side cap and bucky
