my biggest tip would be. play however youre most comfortable. you dont need to find everything, you dont need the most optimal builds, you dont need to worry about multiclassing and stuff like that, and theres no shame in turning the difficulty down or tweaking it to your liking!

yea tactician is a biiiig step up

i’d recommend doing tactician with death saves turned off because unless you do that, enemies tend to prioritize killing downed allies even over dealing with immediate threats which makes it way more punishing to get downed

there’s ||a ledge that you can stand on where your caster can be both out of range of myrkuls bonechill aura AND far enough away that you don’t have disadvantage on range, while still being right next to the apostle and having line of sight on the whole arena p much||
