#Eligibility for Incoming freshman

Unfortunately no. All players need to be enrolled with a full time course load for the semester they want to play in
Even though he’s in good academic standing and has a current transcript there’s no chance ?
I don’t really understand how this makes sense considering this student is still enrolled within our school but is forced to take a gap semester due to financial/personal reasons? It’s not like he isn’t a student anymore and is banned from SFSU suddenly he still has access to his student portal and has current identification. <@&928849535420211240>
he isnt full time this semester, so he cannot play
you need to be fulltime during the semester of eligibility
So you’re saying even if he could only afford one class he could play since it isn’t full time ?
Yes he'd need to be a full time student to play
How is that fair to the people who only have time during the week for like one - two classes ?
Then they more than likely don't have the time to commit to an esports league as well. Unfortunately that is the rule. The league is meant for college students, not people taking a class or two. Same as 90% of other esports leagues and events, as well as any other sports teams at your school
@zinc gate we do make manually reviewed exemptions for students that are only taking a part time course load on a case by case basis, however students on gap semesters do not fall under this as they are not actively continuing their education for that semester.
They do have time for the league hence why I’m bringing this up. Obviously I’ve been in close communication with the player or else why would I be trying to solve this ? He is a college student at SF state and I think that’s what everyone keeps glossing over. Everyone is willfully ignoring the fact that each case is different but the fact of the matter is he is still a student with us.
