You and fellow Junior Colonial Administrators have been upgraded from Indenture Status IV to Indenture Status V, entitling you to such glamorous perks as a monthly commissary allowance and the potential to even earn real Republic credits in the course of your corporate duties. Your new home is Skyli, a verdant and unexplored alien world teeming with riches that you will have the unique opportunity to exploit for the corporation!"

The game premise is that each PC is a founding member of a new space colony established by Czerka Corp in the same time as KOTOR 1 takes places roughly, during the Jedi Civil War. You are also all Czerka indentures, meaning you are not legally allowed to leave the job and you generally get treated like a slave by the corporation, though you'll now be largely on your own (together) on Skyli. Each of you has a specific assignment, for instance the Head of R&D, Head of Security, etc. but these jobs are assigned by the Corporation and don't necessarily reflect your character's abilities so much as their ability to get that role by one means or another (Czerka is very corrupt, for instance). So, for example, the Head of Security could theoretically be someone who is just very good at seeming threatening, or someone who bribed their way in, or hacked their way in, etc. Everybody is starting a bit higher XP than usual as well, with around 100 bonus XP, and all characters have an Obligation as per EotE even if their career isn't from EotE.

Well there's nobody immediately to rebel against in this case, as you're being sent to be local management. Of course there is the potential of rebellion against the corporation once you establish a functioning colony but that's up to the players

Either could work well here, though a droid would obviously be literal company property rather than an indenture, don't think they'd necessarily clamp a restraining bolt if you're like a corpo bot, whereas if you're some other droid that came to them they'd probably secure you with one
