Is minimum donation back to $1? It went up to $2 last time.

Minimum donation is $1 and minimum gift is $2

Please note that the lower the donation, the higher the relative payment processing fees

If self donation is 1$ then why gifting was increased to 2$,both are same.

Many players use Patron wings as tournament prize. It's nice but
gifting 10 times $1 doesn't help us, because of the fixed fees.
I'd prefer if they gift 5 times $2.

I see,fine for lichess.
But isn't donation meant about how much they want to support.I mean tournament case is a very true one though as making patron tournaments encourage people to play and they experience patron atleast once in life but probably due to this change ,the tournaments are low now.But okay for lichess I mean what sir thibault said it's correct as well.

If you’re donating, the point is to support lichess

If you’re donating $1 and the site is taking 70 cents in fees, then you’re not supporting lichess as much as if you donated a larger amount

Also if you’re donating 10 wings, $10 shouldn’t make much of a difference

Paypal has a very attractive "microtransaction" option. I hope Lichess is taking advantage of that.
