#What is the average response time i can expect to the [email protected] email

I wonder if the email problem that is now resolved also affected incoming emails to the [email protected] address? If this isn't the case, how long does it usually take to get a response?

I understand it might be really busy now (in combination with a couple of days of easter having passed).

I send an email on the 17th of April and on the 19th (because i realised i forgot to add a subject to the email and some clarification). It was about asking permission to close my account and open a new one to replace it

If you have not, then you are fine to close and open a new one

Thank you for your reply!

it says "Your account is not marked or restricted. You're all good!"

I have an alternate account, which i asked permission for, and what i worry about is that closing my main account and opening a new one might go over the 2 that are allowed in the rules.

I have some OCD tendencies that i'm working on so i have closed an account and opened a new one before, but i would always reach out to the [email protected] email address to formally ask permission before doing so.

Call it moderation bias - but people who ask like this ahead of time are generally speaking not the rule breakers where we want to prevent a new account.

But yes, in general everything has limits.

i think i will just wait a couple more days and hope i will get a response to my email 🙂

I'm probably overthinking it a lot but i feel more at ease if i have formal permission

It should not have, but I also don't do anything with emails

#

If it's been awhile, send a new email maybe

i don't have email access, but I don't think response times are that long
