I set up a broadcast that is pulled from DGT's live chess cloud. Here is the lichess link: https://lichess.org/broadcast/leonid-shamkovich-norm-invitational/qmTRA0Ug. The correct games are pulled. Even the correct results are pulled in. But, none of the moves are being pulled in. We're now starting the second round, so we'll see if there is anything different today. I've checked the configuration and I don't see anything wrong. Of course, that doesn't mean there isn't something wrong. Can anyone shed any light on this?
#No moves pulled in broadcast from DGT livechesscloud

The error is probably on/with lichess, I saw some chatter about broadcast issues being looked into. Not sure there is anything else to do at the moment, but allow time for dev's to invetigate
I was wondering if livechesscloud changed their API. That would certainly do it. Of course, if that were true, then everyone would be affected. Are others having an issue? I see a couple other broadcasts going on that seem to be working. But, there's no way for me to tell what is their source.
No, in this case I think it was lichess that changed. Some bigger refacroting PR's was merged.
https://github.com/lichess-org/lila/pull/12944 Will hopefully be fixed with next update.
@sage folio hey, we can work around it for now until the fix is deployed. Also, would you like to be featured on the lichess broadcast page?
Broadcast is fixed for now. If you want to appear on https://lichess.org/broadcast feel free to ping me or email [email protected]
Thanks!
Free online chess server. Play chess in a clean interface. No registration, no ads, no plugin required. Play chess with the computer, friends or random opponents.
That would be great. Thanks.
I see it's working now. Awesome. You changed the source to a specific IP. Two quick questions, should I change the remaining rounds to this source? Is this source a temporary workaround? Mostly, I'm just curious.
It’s a tool we use in the broadcast team to rehost sources. I haven’t enabled it for future rounds so let’s keep the regular source for now. If the bug persists we can do it for the rest of the broadcast
FYI: Our round 3 starts in 12 minutes. I set it for a 15 minute delay (900 seconds). Since the link is still the original livechesscloud, should I change the link to the other one, if nothing happens?
Ah, since the next round starts now I’ll set it up for round 3 as well
The broadcast is featured on the page with a description now
The delay means the moves will come in only 15 minutes after they’ve been played
That's perfect. Thank you very much.
Thanks. If there’s an error please email [email protected] so we’ll take care of it more quickly 🙏
Good to know. I plan on doing another event in a couple weeks (US Cadet Championship). I haven't set it up yet. Should I email [email protected] to get it put on the list once I get it setup?
Yeah, that would be awesome
