A guide for gearing... Maybe?

I recently became a somewhat fan of mabinogi, combat feels alright now and just doing story while slipping in some dungeon runs and what not to get some money.

But when it comes to gearing, things are just a bit weird because I can't seem to find a good website or guide site to help push a direction on what kind of gear I need.

Of course I'm not instantly looking for the best top notch gear, that's going to be expensive as heck- so something average will do (especially since fury fighter is soon, I don't know when though if someone can maybe she'd some light over that too)

But yeah, maybe some milletians might have some info to dump on me on what I need to get, or what kind of stats or gears I need to aim for?

And yes I'm maining Elemental Knight with fighter as a back up.

This guide exists - although it says "best in slot", it offers plenty of guidance on budget versions!

I would highly recommend embracing the "good enough" mentality.
As for Fury Fighter specifically, I do not have the info on hand to give an opinion on what to build towards on that front, but that would mostly be reforge related, but the guide seems to have a pre-emptive one.

9 times out of 10, the weapon is the main focus because that's the most influential

good enough on EK to start with is majestic knight set (or thames set) combined with just about any max damage enchant you can find on that best in slot guide that's under 1m, getting something more expensive where it feels appropriate.

EK is kinda easy because you can jsut find a max attack power or (preferably) smash reforge to transfer to a 2h and maybe combat master max or sword mastery max on gloves and that's good enough until you're gonna start spending real money.

that means settling for something like necromancer or demi lich and corrib on a 2h for EK for example.

fighter: collect reforges from shineseeker and near for things like spinning uppercut reduction, and skill damage as the BIS guide prioritizes. the guide lists reforges in order of importance, so if the first column has multiple reforges, the first one is more important, and the second one or second column are nice to have at the same time, or can be relegated to an echostone as you spend time in sidhe.

progression is often:

1. get weapon
2. don't be naked
3. ??? (basically repeat 1 and 2 until MW nightbringer weapon)
4. soul liberator grind

Was there ever a date estimation for when Fury Fighter comes out?

Generally, we expect to see updates with a 6 month delay from KR.
So, maybe around mid-summer? (Just as a disclaimer I don't have official information. It's just an assumption based on the past.)

Most English guides are pretty bad. They don't really tell you HOW to progress just list gear out. This blog has actual steps to take for gearing ek from starting to end game. They also have guides for other arcana. Knuckles isn't really going to be something you get gear for past the utility reforges until the new arcana comes out.
