#Rabbie Phantasm temptation route hard lock / succubus not being counted

Summary:
When playing Rabbie Phantasm temptation route, sometimes when the first of the four succubi is killed, it isn't counted (the counter in the top right with the colors highlighted does not appear until the second succubus, thus the first one isn't highlighted/counted towards the total). It makes it impossible to run the temptation route even though it's technically been played correctly.

Sometimes (3 out of 9 runs)

Details:

  • I was playing in a party of mostly 2, sometimes 3 for all the runs.
  • It seems like it only happens when the first succubus is the red one. We haven't had problems with the white one.

A few troubleshooting questions:

  • Are you sure you're not missing the first rose?

    • The Red Succubus is always the first Succubus. While it's okay to defeat the White Succubus first if you missed interacting with the first rose, you will need to run back to defeat the Red Succubus before moving on to the next floor, or the Temptation Run is forfeit.
    • The counter will only show when one Succubus is defeated, so if you start with White Succubus, it will show Red as greyed out and you will need to locate the earlier Rose before moving on to the next floor.
      From what it sounds like, this is the most likely scenario especially if you're clearing all rooms before interacting with the roses.

  • Are you sure you're defeating the Red Succubus?

    • The Succubus will vanish if not defeated within 30 seconds and render Temptations' Path closed off.

I can keep an eye out for the timing thing in future runs, but 100% we're seeing the red succubus/spawning her with the rose
