#Essence of Raw Force Issue

So we're about 1/2 a year into the release of Bri Leith and we're starting to quickly hit a price influx on essence of raw force. Each weapon using about 400~600 to complete each. Even with future update release of 5 obols per 1 essence of raw force in the shop with Leannan, at current obol prices 2m~2.5m per obol. That would be about 10m~12.5m per essence of raw force if we go based on that pricing, even if price drops, 1m~1.5m per obol, 5m~7.5m per essence.

With the cutbacks on Shadow Wizard Elite and only having Rabbie Temptation, RAHM/AAHM as the only commonly done content that drops them now are simply SO bad that even after weeks of running them, I myself have personally seen maybe 15~25 TOTAL since changes/release post new rise(being like 1/40 chests). Does anyone else feel the quick scarcity we're heading towards with essence of raw force?

I would appreciate anyone else to speak their mind about this issue since it affects everyone overall and future players who would like to move from ruination/nightbringer to soul liberator weapons

Unfortunately, this is just another situation for us where mats will just cost ALOT more for na cause we have less active players and its not an issue for kr anymore. Our only relief coming is gonna be a slight drop rate increase for rabbie temptations.

edit for below, no amount of money spent is making up the supply problem lol, its not an item you can just buy into existance if people aren't running to get it.

NA needs to learn to balance to NA population. We have horrendous rates that force you to compensate with real money or simply conform to not having any significant gold.

Personally stopped running Neartites and Shineseekers after a few weeks since they get me nothing worth noting. The best i got was an Masterwork Shuriken, that while rare and appreciated, im not going to upgrade, erg or enchant something i cant sell or trade afterwards. In terms of gold generation, its useless.

With the differences in needs, player-base size, and the majority of how most people play is severely different from Korea. Since most of Korea players in MOST games overall are generally hardcore in every genre. NA for the most part is casual in most MMORPGs with a majority of people being okay as “slowly but surely reach end game” types. I think with future updates and patch notes, there should be a bit more thought on specifics with things like pricing, player size, and history of item pricing. The fact we haven’t ever gotten a more detailed poll about what content most of us can run or if any of us were affected by things like account character run restrictions to neartite/content limit per account clearly shows there’s a disconnection between the players and GMs/CMs/Devs with their updates and thought process in NA. Especially since there’s no easy way to state these issues and be heard without it being drowned in generic complaints

I can agree with a lot of this.

If anything the only thing I'd say is that one of the reasons the game currently seems to cater more towards KR's player base is because they're likely trying to minimize the differences between servers to get ready for Eternity but, at this point with these drop rates being so overwhelmingly low for NA's community its just wrecking the market, we have so many gold sinks now and too little sources of large quantities of gold so things over 30mil in cost are getting harder and harder to afford, but, since people still need tons of money to afford such materials which are scarce and we require literally hundreds of the prices aren't dropping if anything they might get even higher...

We definitely need an increase in drop rate because items we need hundreds off shouldn't be so scarce that you find less than 20 a week, i can appreciate them making an effort by adding the item as purchasable but, for obols? This currency is very scarce and difficult to farm and we have tons of other materials to buy from bri that are bri exclusive, a material like essence of raw force that isn't bri exclusive should be purchasable with non-bri exclusive currency like adventurer seals or some such thing.

Yea I think this issue applies to everything and not just essence of raw force. They rly should make our drop rate scale based on our player base.

Realistically essence of raw force prices won't be dropping anytime soon even with it popping up in the obol shops at 5 obol per 1 essence... Until bri materials becomes less valuable than essence of raw force in cost comparison of time/server supply count, we're at least a minimum of 1 to 2 years before the 5 obol for 1 essence of raw force starts to influence a price drop. We might peak at 8m+ worst case?.... 10m+ IF a lot more people hop onto the band wagon for Soul Liberator crafting (for reference, 135 BME at 40m ea is 5.4B gold/400 essence of raw force x 5m ea = 2B alone)

We would genuinely need a lower obol to essence of raw force shop value to make it help the market at all, other wise it'd be a non-existent update that NO ONE would use/buy from since it makes more sense to just buy them for a lot more on auction house and farm obols for bri specific materials

This game has had an issue since the very dawn of time because of our playerbase and nexons lack of communication the market is extremely volatile if they were smart they would adjust the rates with our playerbase but that will never ever happen NA has absolutely no say in anything that benefits the player over kr the only solution is project eternity and sponsors trying to up the playerbase when it comes

I think we've personally hit the point where it's too expensive to afford, so we're just going to farm obols and wait to see what the devs do for essence of raw force in the obol shop SadCat We're priced out with how slow the current economy is with gold income

Its cooked. Gate 4 coming out it wont go down anytime soon. I don't think a event is even fixing this problem. But if people running bri dont see it as a issue then it's not a issue

It would absolutely crush priced what, thats enough to make 3 sl weapons, more then anyone is actually gonna make on average.

Not sure if NA will survive til G4 release for essence of raw force in obol shop and giving them away free would kill the market, I think just reducing obol per EoRF price to 3 obol per 1 would slowly resolve supply and price issue

Soon it will be more worth to get ERF from obol shop than the bri mats which is crazy because why are we running bri to get pity for a mat that doesn’t even drop there

Just curious but is anyone here actively working on an SL or have one already crafted? I'm assuming everyone who has reacted are mainly people who are being affected (I'm done w/ my EoRF but gf needs 300 EoRF still for her lyre)

I haven’t had any luck in phantasm personally but I’ve been doing ciar adv and I get maybe 1/15 runs on a lucky run or 1/40+ Nvm I just ran 150+ and still haven't gotten an essence of raw force

I’m starting to reach a point where my drop rates for Essence of raw force is non existent and seeing more BME than Essence of raw force from RAHM lol… ik I can buy it with the gold from BME sold but just weird to see BME more commonly than EoRF. When 35m EoRF? ☠️

What are people betting the obol cost per essence of raw force will most likely be upon update release? I’m hoping for 3 obols but realistically it will probably be unchanged
