#Put flashy dyes into gacha again

I’ve noticed that a lot of our dyes as of the past year have been monotone flat color dyes. Where are the tan flashies?! The hyper puke green flashy? The eye sore hot pink to white flashy?

We have several events that allow us to create dyes (not even including the moonstone purification dyes from Apocalypse) which are not flashy. With DIY flashy dyes, these are not going to be exact 1:1 matches with certain old VIP flashies.

While I know, for some, the era of flashy may be over. But, if we’re going to add dyes to gach still, can they be dyes that were worth rebirthing over and not a bunch of off-white/dark brown/rando dye color that’s not even popular among players?

Unfortunately, I can’t rebirth an elf to chance for my tan flashy anymore like 2011. And I’m starting to run out of my stock from a gach that came out over a year and a half ago u_u.

I don't think Flashy dyes should be returned to Gacha... but this is a good arguement for revamping DIY Flashy dyes in order to bring back those extinct coloured flashy dyes, because the colour selection is Very bad.

-# Also as someone who uses brown dyes: :(

Gacha would probably be the best, but there's some argument regardless for making some flashies that have fallen to the wayside more accessible, someway somehow. As of right now, a lot are locked behind rebirthing as an Ace and heading to the rebirth area NPC, and thusly are in insanely short supply.

I know I'm running on almost empty for my Orange Flashies, of both variants, and I'm sure many folks are wondering when "xyz" flashy will come back. So some way to get them would likely be a good idea.

(In checking for this I just rebirthed to TH because someone on the wiki thought that the rebirthing for dyes function was gotten rid of.)

They just really need to make ALL the DIY Dye molds act like Fine versions where you can tailor the hex codes to what you exactly want.

The static color selections are straight garbage now that we've had that.

I'm open to whatever the solution is, otherwise I'd have bought the wells and prayed for an option. imo, I'd rather our gachas not have a bunch of rando dyes that no one will want.

Nexon needs more passive gold sinks and less trash in gachas. Easy fix make NPCs sell dyes instead of flooding gachas. Precision dyes like do it yourself are significantly more expensive while basic dye collection is cheaper. Another option is my suggestion for a "fashion" dungeon I mentioned a long time ago where reaching certain floor levels would allow you to make dyes and even flashy dyes. Because fashion is true end game

Bring back the homestead dye wells, for those who are too new to have gotten one

The well event should be updated maybe add a synthetizing part with the well call it fractal oven or whatever the piece that does they synthetizing is called put in X number of dyes from fractal well and once a week you can make 1 diy flashy or regular, or hair, or flashy hair the week long suggestion is to control the flashy dyes since I believe letting people play how they want to but at same time flashy dyes can be stupidly annoying.
It would be nice if there was a toggle option for flashy dyes like turning the settings on results in default outfit colors for people who don't want to deal with them.
Basically like how clicking an outfit in a dressing room displays random colors, take that make it show default colors instead of flashy when setting is turned on

-# Personally, I can't stand the rapid flashies that have been made/released. They're nausea-inducing and also pretty inconsiderate of players that might have epilepsy. Either get rid of them entirely or add a no-flashy toggle like Neko suggested.

There's probably a good chance that if well flashies were introduced again, it is going to be hell on the eyes of anybody unfortunate to gaze upon some people who find nothing better than to dye every part of their outfit a completely different seizure flashy.

I mostly keep to a reasonable selection of dyes, and only one is a rapid flashy, however, I agree with having a setting to disable flashies. Even if the well event or core suggestion is left by the wayside.

I still find it funny how flashies used to be expensive until they made the flashy well and bombed the value

I agree on shutting off flashy dyes; however, it's a staple a lot of us invested in for a long time. DIY kits are hard to match w/ the dyes and the only time I've ever had access to my flashy was through the first hyperion gach prior to just random occasional tan flashies on the server after they changed elf rebirths.

A... small segment of flashy dyes can be recreated with the DIY kits. It's much better for custom wave pulses or unique flicker flashies, rather than remaking a dye that already exists.

Offhand, I know my orange flashies, this dye wavepulseblue , the police siren seizure flashy, and the green-blue "radioactive" metal can't be recreated. They can be mimicked, but none of them will match.

Unfortunately, don't think I miss the flashy dyes in gacha. What I do miss is the free dye selection after rebirthing in Iria from Ffion~

But also: Revamp the DIY and Fine DIY kits! I wish the selection of colors would be improved.

Like I said prior, they just have to make them all act as Fine versions.

Better yet, to add on to what I said, why not condense all the Dye Mold types into one; every type of dye, including Marionette. Some sort of DIY Dye Mold Laboratory Kit. Tick a box at the top for what dye type you want, tick another if you want it to be flashy, and then type in the hex codes accordingly/adjust the rate at which the colors oscillate.

...Of course this could all easily be sidestepped if they just unified the dye system to use just one type of item. Or two if they have to keep Pet Dyes separate. You don't see this level of complexity with XIV for example.
