I like dual wielding, but I have really bad gear right now and hoping to get Fergseus for EK. Would it be dumb to get the one-handed sword since i wont have anything to match it on the off-hand?

The Perseus arrow only costs a bit less than a demo bow anyways

I wouldn't know. But I did hear that if you get two 1H SL swords (nigh impossible) it's actually better than a 2H SL sword

Unfortunately that's not supposed to be the case for perseus or nightbringer. But if a 1H weapon wouldn't cost you TOO much of your damage, idk if that would make you want to get a 1H or not. That said, EK is a dps arcana, and unlike HS and SG dps is kinda all EK has (that and mobility and a nice defensive move). So idk if you'll want to pass up dps. Besides it might take you a hot minute of grinding to afford a Perseus 1h sword to use with a Fergseus one.

But yeah to be clear, for perseus and nb, 2h sword is supposed to be better than 1h, I just don't know how much better.

Like, in fairness, people in mabi split hairs over every tiny 1% of extra damage they can get. So I can't know if 2h Fergseus is that much better in actuality. But if you don't wanna wait for someone to tell you, it's fine!

I think I’m in the same situation as you. Very outdated gear and I was thinking bout going for a 1handed Fergheus. But honestly I’ve been able to solo a lot of content I haven’t been able to with the 2H Fergheus. Plus we still have 2 months, maybe we’ll get lucky with a leprechaun dropping a 1Handed Perseus or Night ^^
But from my current experience, you’re better off with the 2H one ^^

I leveled up my new Fergheus 2H Spirit to 100
Abusing all the gem drops and stuff to level my 1Handed spirit in the meantime, it’s up to level 70

That’s what I did, I’m not saying it was a good choice….. but maybe it was?

Cause I can't make EK be not a meme for my elf anyway unless I grind for the entire rest of my life or something and I won't do that.

Just buy the 300% spirit stone from the flying high shop every day!

I mean that's 3 spirit levels every single day, it adds up. Counting today's, you can still get 75 spirit levels from just that before flying high ends, if you buy it for each of the 25 days that entails.

And you can easily get to level 25 from just gems, especially if you use the master plan 2x spirit exp weekly buff. I got level 40 using that and a bunch of gems from AH (costed me around 3m total).

But level 25 will cost significantly less even if you do it the same way, and there's still 4 300% spirit stones you can get from mystical rental weekly check in, counting this week's, so that's another 12 spirit levels.

And remember these mysterious spirit stones give you the full EP you would get from having 100% bond when getting late spirit levels, so you don't need to worry about bond, you can just use the spirit stones and get max EP.
