Summary: The picture that you line up and the one that you actually take are completely differently scaled from one another. It seems like the frame from using the actual skill is bigger than how the picture turns out. I believe the easiest fix would be to adjust the frame preview. additionally, when rotating the camera to view oneself, the character is offcenter from the viewfinder.
Occurrence: always

The astral imaging skill takes a picture of where your character actually is. Therefore, since the idling animation of your characters appears to be in the air, its actually not. The astral imaging skills seems to be able to actually find the true position of your character in game. One way to test this is to try and take pictures of your friends using homestead props. You will realize that, they are not actually where they appear in game.

You can use this "Feature/Bug" to actually get different appearance affects to appear. If you are using shiny eyes/haloes or any other item that changes appearance. Then by changing either changing the border or just background it will oddly refresh the astral image. This only works for non completed images. Oddly, i think the astral image is just a cache of character model at that time. You can actually cycle through the entire animation cycle if you keep changing the background. I think its 3 frames per background change.

Hello, I understand the implications of this for non completed images but do you know how this will influence the completed images? Say for example, you took an image of some middle portion of an animation, proceed to refresh the border until you get a starting/finishing animation, if you choose to design a card and complete it then, will the completed image/card revert back to the middle portion of the animation or is there a way it'll let us keep the starting/finishing frames? Thanks!

It should keep the finalized animation frame, I have an good example if when it does NOT!. There is a before and after of the exactly same COMPLETED image. My characters eyes is Majestic eys (Gaze of revelations) (carmine red). I completed the astral image then put it into the astral frame....HOWEVER it seems like a couple of frames cycled and my characters eyes started flashing! It was cool and i didnt expect it. Plus, i double check with the background and it wasnt due to any of my homestead props. Sadly the astral image is empty now due to the updates.

Yes, oddly i have no clue why it happens. My only assumption is that astral frames or imaging actually captures not an image, but your actual entire gesture/idle animation cycle. It seems to use the existing feature of preview or the dressing room window that appears.

but yea its still broken for all our astral frames T.T I love this feature in the game, but each update keeps erasing all the new frames that contain astral images of players...making this skill totally obsolete for the community to even use. It also removes all existing stickers too.
