Working on planning out progression atm for a Two-Handed sword Human.

From what I've gathered so far the best weapons are:

Soluna Blade: https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Soluna_Blade
- Seems this weapon has everything, high damage, injury rate, piercing , enchants, reforge, and special upgrade. But also requires many hard to obtain crafting materials.
Nightbringer Warlord: https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Nightbringer_Warlord
- Much lower base damage than the above, but has Final Hit enchantment instead of Bash enhancement (likely to save you a lot of money), also has piercing level 2.
Perseus Monumental Blade: https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Perseus_Monumental_Blade
- Slightly weaker than Nightbringer but doesn't have stat rng.
Divine Blade: https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Divine_Blade
- Roughly equivalent to the Perseus depending on what you want to focus on, has stat rng to deal with.
Celtic Errant Blade: https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Celtic_Errant_Blade
- Good base stats farmable from https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/The_First_Battle_of_Mag_Tuireadh_(Chronicle_Mission) it can also be enhanced with signets for increased final hit damage. Easier to obtain than anything else.

Anyone think there's anything else worth mentioning here?

If you’re looking at progression in general, then I think the Celtic Errant Blade needs to be in that list below D-Blade as basically the start of the sequence.

Interesting, that weapon isn't on the list here: https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Swords_List#Heavy_Sword so I missed it.

Is that even obtainable atm? Wiki has its manual obtainment listed as ??.

There aren't many on the AH either which leads me to believe this is a shop only manual that isn't currently obtainable.

Well you use the Celtic artifact shards you get from the mission as currency to buy it from Lanier

Yeah, that would be a good one to add considering it has one more pierce than D-Blade. Considering the price of each though, it might be better to simply skip D-Blade and go straight to the Perseus Blade.

Seems to me it's slightly worse than D-Blade or equivalent to D-Blade depending on how D-Blade rolls it's additional stats.

Here's the thing

Corrib is 40m

#

And for dblade which has a max damage, you have to get solitude which has a max damage roll and pierce roll

So

#

You have 2 options, get monumental and have less headache for rng

#

Or buy a dblade premade with good stats

I mean in terms of premade cost they're about the same

and a high roll dblade is almost same as high roll monumental if we're not being nitpicky with max damge

damn the more i think about it the more I probably shouldve gotten DBlade kek pretty sure i saw a pretty good one for 110m but i was convinced that Monumental was insanely better

Yes but base dblade has 1 pierce

The consideration I put up was Corrib Monumental vs Solitude 3p Dblade

Meteoroid 3p Monumental is 6 pierce

vs 4 pierce from Solitude Dblade

iirc 1 pierce is like +5% so it Met Monumental would be 10% stronger

Idk when you factor in dblade smash enhancement though.

Progression wise you can drop 150-200m for a prebuilt 3P Dblade (not worth making one from scratch) but its progression stops there

While Perseus Blade gets 4P total with Corrib for a small fraction more and could be improved with a better suffix

#

We should be phasing out Dblade unless you get a prebuilt one which would be a waste of gold at that point if a minor upgrade more is replacing the entire weapon for Perseus Meteoroid

Celtic Corrib (dont buy a corrib imo since you can fund a clean perseus instead) -> Perseus clean -> Perseus Corrib -> (prebuilt dblade is marginally better if no smash set armor pieces) -> Perseus Meteoroid -> anything better afterwards (NB Corrib doesnt replace? NaoWheeze )
