Before the combat system update many years ago, this made sense to have. With today's combat system, this no longer makes sense and is extremely annoying. Mabi PvE gets more and more fast paced as you make it to end game. This mechanic should not even belong in the game anymore and only serves as a way to annoy players.
Please get rid of it.

Bash
- Damage increased.
- At Rank 1: 380% / 400% / 420% / 440% / 460% -> 520% / 540% / 560% / 580% / 600%
- Now has priority over normal attacks.
- Bash stacks are gained twice as fast when Dual-wielding.
- Ignores Auto-defense of Heavy Standers below a certain rank.
- Close Combat Talent Damage increases based on number of Bash stacks.
- At Rank 1: 2% / 4% / 6% / 8% / 10%
** * When Bash is at 5 stacks, Close Combat Talent and Elemental Knight Skills will ignore Auto-defense of Heavy Standers below a certain rank.**- Bash stack retention time changed.
- At Rank 1: 27 seconds -> 20 seconds.
- Stacks will remain even when changing weapons.
- Bonus damage from stacks only applies to Close Combat weapons.
- Bash now closes the gap between user and target (distance up to 7m).
- This does not occur if the skill is used by a monster.
additionally while I couldn't find it in the unreleased post itself additionally with "Instill Thunder" the anti-ping effect previously only applying to "normal attacks" is extended to also work on Close Combat & Elemental Knigth skills
also aside from these changes which were treated as a temporary way to resolve it, it had already been mentioned there would be a rework to "ping"/auto defenses somewhere down the road due to up disruptive they can be but but nexon has a track record of taking a very long time once they start such projects
