I don't think so, I don't believe most players will be interested in grinding it to get it active in the first place, so it may encourage players to do Part-time jobs when it is active or near active, but I imagine that it would be difficult to get it to near active if most players stop doing them in the first place.
For reference, it's currently at 26%, assuming this is a high engagement period (which is should be), and the update has been our what, 2 days? That means we should expect to see the first blessing 8 or 9 days after the update. Now the question is what is the long term engagement, let's assume it's 10% of the current amount, an arbitrary number, but it seems fair to me. That would mean we would be probably looking at a blessing every 2.5-3 months.
And what I'm saying is the blessing is likely supposed to be the incentive. That alone is supposed to be enough to engage
I don't agree that it's enough - the "new" factor will wear off very soon, and most players will drop off from doing part-time jobs again, while others will go back to farming the ones that give them specifiic items they want
A feature that only activates once every few weeks, or possibly even once a month, even if it lasts for a week, will quickly get forgotten, especially for only a 20% boost
There's also the option of giving NPCs even better item rewards to incentivise engagement, but I don't think Nexon would go for that
I think the easier answer is just reduce the amount of points to appease our smaller community
But we can't do that without seeing how fast or slow it takes on average to even activate outside of grindtime event
I do think Phaea's blessing needs a bit of rescaling for NA too.
aye looking at how little progress has been made despite there being people having done hundreds to thousands of them already
we'd be lucky if it triggered a few times a year outside of an event like this
PTJs already have the reward for doing them being what you get and Seals are already way to easy to get as it is
as an add-on for this, it might be worth checking and comparing the accumulation rate of this current part time job event and how many times NA hits Phaea's abundance VS how long it took for KR to do so. This is probably data that KR got themselves as well.
That could be a good basis for how to scale the points required for Phaea's Abundance to reach 100%.
That info isnt available to players either, so....
